Just wanted to touch on the fear some have of foreigners migrating to Europe from all over the world. I think with global warming this is inevitable since large parts of the world will become unlivable. What defines our societies and cultures isn't the ethnicity of its inhabitants, but the language. So as long as countries keep their languages I believe that their culture and identity will remain. Today we have inherited a lot of things from other countries. Taste in food, movies, music etc. We've inherited the things from others that we like/enjoy, but our languages have mostly remained - IMO the language is the defining feature of any culture.
