You are usually very critic and I understand it, but you really need please to keep calm and read. Im not a native speaker, so maybe you need to read me 2 time to get it.
The price of the content did not change, the content still cost 10$. What change is that before MEMBERS needed 7.5tkt to get the scene and now you need more ticket, this because you purchase the content using tickets that you acquired using a membership plan (that is already a discount) instead then purchase directly using usd.

You need to see it also from the opposite prospective, purchasing the content with ticket system, gave you a huge discount. Now that discount is smaller, but still the members have a benefit.

To purchase a scene with tickets, still gives you 10% discount or so.

Now, 10% discount instead of 30% or so is of course a bit little given the fact that we subscribers pay 80$ at once and not 10$ for each scene. 80$ you can invest at once! Also for sure subscribers tend to buy scenes in bulk instead of each scene on its own. And loyalty once destroyed cannot get built up that fast again!

If we want to speak about the market anche what is changed in the last 4-6 years, this is another topic that is not really connected to the tickets/usd matter.

Anyway a lot is changed, first of all models now have other heavy source of incoming, it is called OF.
I know models, average one you would probably purchase only in DAP with BBC and pee, that have an OF account with membership 7usd/month. So you buy the membership and after for 90% of content, you need to spend 10$ for each clip. A model with 200 fans make an easy life out of it with few hours of afford on social network and few poor releases every week. They do not need to travel much, shoot most of content with BF and few friends, rarely with anal.
They use also the same content for other platform, getting other money as well
Than there are the good looking model, that are making much more.

You cant compare the pool of content NOW with the pool we had BEFORE (this to answer to netzerkaiser). We are not using less afford in scouting, just what we offer is not interesting for good girls. It was directed at PB as a whole who, a few days after I recharged, suddenly said ‘hey, guess what; starting now your tickets have lost around 30% of their value’.

And I’m not sure about the electricity comparison. We all need electricity, and although we can switch providers (at least where I live that’s an option), it isn’t easily done. So while a huge electricity bill sucks, we don’t really have a choice. We can complain but in the end we have to pay it anyway. We can’t go without electricity. This case is somewhat different. Porn is a luxury item. And if I feel I have been treated unfairly and my comments about that are basically set aside, I do have other options. I can stop paying from one day to the other (unlike an electricity bill), and try and find alternative options. I want to be loyal, but it’s being made impossible.

These are basic capitalist principles that apply to all businesses. Harvard business courses are easily accessible to everyone nowadays. You don't need to come from a rich family to get this information anymore.

Utilities, shelter, basic food, and transportation are a different ball game entirely. But I imagine everyone knows this already.

Again, economic proliferation is the only tested way over time that has been able to overcome the problems of inflation, while keeping the currency value to a visible margin. This is the approach crypto uses, USD uses, Euros uses, etc.. It has been tested over and over again, it is the way entire economies grow.

Also the access to other country outside EU has limitations because of the previous reason as well, including usa). I have a pile of girls from USA and Canada but Im able to bring here maybe 20% of what I could in normal time.

But if I was without tickets and I decided to buy a ticket package of 10 tickets, I would pay EUR 11.92. So the ticket package is actually MORE expensive, and it STILL wouldn't allow me to buy this scene.

For "first" the solution is growing the buying base through proliferation which honestly has been done by GIO correctly since the pandemic, and it is important to recognize that, Giorgio's Lab, XfreaX, the Wonder Toys, new series like Black Pee, all good ways to make more money.

Just increasing the price it is not the way to solve this.

For "second" I have to agree that there is no way around it and the efforts have been remarkable all things considered.

The excuse here is that COVID gave time, War didn't give time. If time is the factor, the solution is not something people like, but if you really want to know the established tested way to address this in economics is to release products at a marginal lost. So the profits diminish temporarily just to maintain the base good faith enough to have time for new proliferation products to arrive and get back those marginal lost.

That's the tested way, but I understand some people don't have the patience for that, or in some cases the financial willingness to justify it because at the end of the day it implies a risk. However that risk is small if proliferation ideas are already in the works.

So the only time price increase is the last resource is when there are no new proliferation plans for the future. In which case the plan is to keep things as they are just more expensive which means the business has accepted and is already comfortable with the idea the there will be no significant growth and that there is still a chance for more loses.

Studios need to have to sales days at least monthly twice in month in a coordinated manner and money accrued during the sale period should be transferred 100% back to studios
I'm suggesting this mainly because in my case sometimes if i want to buy Scene but the TKT price is let's say 9TKT but In my opinion 5-6TKT would be the maximum that I am willing to spend on said Scene,
By which I would look past that Scene
In such a scenario if a sale day comes up where prices drop would be beneficial for both me and the studio due to reasons
1.if the model has not sold well and Studio not willing shoot with her ( gives her 2nd chance indirectly)
2. would attract new customers since i would be buying that 9 TKT albeit at a lower price

First of all GG stays where he is, I mean here on PB.

PB pays studios like me, that publish exclusive content, basically 100% of what they get from you, so the rate is not changed to make PB to gain more money, but to give to the studio a chance to keep stability with their revenue in a difficult moment.

After 2 years of trouble with covid now we have a war behind the corner.
We basically lost 2 country. Maybe Ucrain deosnt have a lot of costumers and Russia did not provide so much sales as USA, but still, we lost customers and a lot.
There is a fucking worldwide crisis, people has less money to spend and believe me or not, there is a big possibility it will be even worse.
With covid, people was at home doing nothing, paid anyway and watching porn and netflix, now they are back to work, with almost doubled bills.

To change the rate just help studios in a difficult moment, because this moment is very complicate and it makes sense to lose some members because of this: PB is protection the studios.

The point is simple as it is. Do you want to support the kind of porn you like or you want it disappear?

It would be better IMO if PB had said this in the first place instead of trying to tell us that the price we pay didn't increase when obviously it did, and then accusing customers of paranoia when they didn't believe the spin.

GG says it shouldn't be a huge drama when the price of porn increases. This topic escalated into a drama because fans didn't receive good communication from the business(es).

Even so, like Netzer, YumYum and others, I really appreciate GG and XXX coming and posting here when they could just ignore us like an electricity company.

Of course we customers don't know the inner workings of the studio or platform business and we'll never really know how much cost pressures are driving price increases. But when any business disrespects customers by feeding them misinformation, the consequence is that customers become even less trusting.

Like YumYum, I think that electicity is a false comparison. It takes a big effort to quit buying electricity and get it some other way, or steal it from a producer. But fans at PB can easily choose whether they stay and pay, or not. One way to encourage customers to stay and pay is to communicate better.

Finally, I think the reason why fans haven't messaged GG at his studio is because we can all see that tkt prices also increased for other studios and therefore it is a PB platform decision. Surely this forum is the place to discuss it?

Same here. I am always excited when I see black/hispanic women get posted because they tend to also have big ASSets :-P but super expensive, so... I'll wait and see. One scene is just not worth that much to me.

Anyway, if trying to stay optimist I see some deescalation steps on the ground, in Pornbox. I am willing to wait a bit more how it evolves there until end of April. But I still would appreciate more thought about loyal PB users and subscribers.

It just seems the ticket prices as far as I can see over the last few days, the ticket prices are constantly changing, I'm not sure what's going on with that, if it is purely just testing or what. I will be more selective on purchasing any scenes, until the prices have stabilized and aren't constantly changing. Hopefully prices are fair to benefit everyone, just seems very messy right now with super high ticket prices that we've never seen before, then a drop, but also some pricing doesn't make much sense across the board. Some are reasonable, some are low, then some are just ridiculously high for no reason it seems.

Another pitiful sideshow of the last 4-5 days, I was working crazy hours so I didn't have time to really check, but it looks like there were about 6 stunning scenes in past few days. Great make-up work on Nela Decker by the way. Really brought out her beauty.

No one fed you misinformation. I came here to explain exactly why you see an increase in prices. I will summarize it again before locking this thread that has turned into arguing, misunderstandings, and venting :

- No one actually raised their prices very recently (but in general yes prices are going up).
- There is an inflation crisis pretty much everywhere currently.
- Some think that because of the crisis and war, women are rushing to porn and we get to shoot fashion models for $500. That is pure fantasy.
- The opposite is actually happening with model prices getting higher and higher.
- You are seeing higher prices in Porn Box since about a few days ago because we adjusted the conversion from USD to TKT.
- Content creators set their prices in USD not in TKT. So a conversion has to occur.
- It is our job to sell the content at the prices that are asked by our content creators. However it is impossible because the TKT prices vary way too much.
- We adjusted the conversion formula to better match what they wanted all along.
- If those content creators simply want to be in the same spot as a few days ago they can lower their prices immediately and nothing will change for you and for them.
- We actually did so with Gonzo (might still be ongoing for some older content).
- As Pornbox we completely agree that prices are getting out of hand with cheap content sold at $10-20 constantly.
- So no one truly raised their prices (they are not even *our* prices). It's just the system that was updated for accuracy, not for the sake of making more money. Higher prices obviously don't necessarily mean more money. At some point it is of course damaging.
- Ultimately it's a hard and unforgiving business and one can go bankrupt quickly if they sell too high, too low, or simply not enough.
