The following data are not linked just to Ella Elastic but it is worth including them. This year there have been more than 850 scenes released referring to piss. In 2018 there were just over 100. That's a hell of a change in a short time. Commercially it may make sense since wet scenes sell much better than dry when they are released simultaneously. But would 'wet' purchasers not buy a scene if it was just dry?

I enjoy wet content so if there's a wet and dry version of a particular I will always buy the wet one. At the same time no issue with a shoot that is completely dry altogether. Usually dry have better flow/pace without the pauses for cleanup and you can just focus on fucking, less edits that interrupt the action

'Civilized' is ultimately the precondition for 'viable'. Clearly I don't intend 'civilized' in this context to mean 'twee' or 'genteel'.

Eg.
If NRX were to run debut performers into the ground and lose them after a only single scene, then he would have to scout a brand new model for every scene (= not viable).

Similarly, if he were to skip scouting and source a performer from an agency and run that new performer into the ground so she left the industry immediately afterwards, not he would lose that model after a single scene, but you can also be pretty certain that the agency involved would not only refuse to send further performers (if a model leaves the business that means they lose future agency fees), but they would also spread the word within the industry that his production company was not to be trusted with new performers (= not viable).

The bottom line is that if Nick NRX can scout a new performer, build a positive and trusting working relationship with her, and shoot 10 decent scenes with a new performer that will all sell (others want to buy them, even if you don't), why would he opt instead to trash all that preparatory effort and 10 sales, in order to sell a single scene and then have to start from scratch?

Nick NRX did his best. Ella did her best. We have what we have. Many were happy with that, even if it didn't last.

If you are disappointed with the results, well that happens sometimes (try another performer or another studio?).

With respect to your opinion, what you mean is "Important *TO YOU*" .

Speaking personally (and I am not the only one who says this), I'm actually more than happy to pay to see those performers I love going no further than great DPs.
And it's often when performers move from that core skill they have perfected, and into the heavier/pissier/DAP content, that quality drops off, because they are both out of their depth and experience skillset, and (sadly) don't always appear to be happy doing so.
Their performance and passion seems dulled in those situations (understandably in my view) and the excitement is lost.

That is my personal view. Clearly others want/expect heavier content, and there are great models here who are more than up to offering that to a high standard.

But I think this 'template' of progression for new performers is probably far more representative of your personal preferences as a viewer (which you are entitled to hold, and good luck to you in your quest!) than the broader view, by which I mean those here not so fixated on certain acts or so demanding of a certain pace of progression.

Ella Elastic’s fans would surely argue, quite rightly, that she has been one of the outstanding newcomers of 2021. So why are the top 10 AV newbies for 2021 on the best sellers page shown as Sasha Beart, Barcelona, Siswet, Berlin, Eden Ivy, Kelly Oliveira, Baby Kxtten, Lia Lin, Khali Noire and Natasha Rios?

Easy. The list appears to be somewhat arbitrary, based essentially on how well even one scene has sold. Hence Lia Lin’s casting currently is 25th and Khali Noire’s debut is 28th so they are deemed to be ahead of Ella Elastic, whose best sellers, her DP/piss and her casting, lie 54th and 56th.

The crucial point is that 54th and 56th bear no comparison with the clear leaders for NRX, Barcelona and Berlin, who respectively have four and three of the top 22 sellers for AV. Is this marked difference down to a lack of DAP by Ella? Apparently not. Five of the seven scenes starring Barcelona and Berlin do not include DAP. Make of it what you will. As a sidelight, there have been more posts on Ella Elastic’s thread (302) than for Berlin (254) or Barcelona (247). This hints at a really solid fan base, which gives fine and consistent sales figures but maybe doesn't draw in the uncommitted to generate exceptional sales figures.
