RE: Personal hygiene and self grooming

Postby xxxVIPERxxx » Sat Nov 23, 2024 12:24 am

To be blunt/direct.
I am an old, fat, very hairy man.

Even at an older age, my hair grows quite fast and it is quite thick.

Within a couple of months, my groin, pubic area, and ass area are completely filled with long, thick, slightly curly hairs.
I do not have the time or energy to constantly do a fine shave over such a large area of my body.
How do others, in particular male porn stars keep themselves clean shaven down there and keep good personal hygiene, and self grooming in an efficient manner?

Honestly, every 3 months, I need to spend about 4-5 hours on this excessive hair issue.

Any advice?

If you or any man lets grow their pubic hair (legs too) for months, is normal need spend time to shave you complete again.

Rutine my friend, once you shave you, do it 1 time between 1-2 weeks, the hair will not grow to much and is more easy to remove it with a simple razor blader and you will not need to spend too much time.

If you let 3-4 months, you will need first a shaver to remove leafy hair and then use a razor blade and that is not the point..

There are special creams too that helps to remove the hair but the idea is don't let too much time for shave you again.

The male pornstars surely do that, also is a part of their jobs have a good personal hygiene, like the girls, so the tip is what i wrote you.

i dont believe society's propaganda that body hair is so gross, ugly, unhot etc

for example pipaypipo is quite hairy and still shes very hot

i personally prefer shaved body hair (with hair as long as possible in the head though)
but i dont think body hair is so gross

Perhaps, you do not get just how hairy I am.

The hairs on my pubic hair area are sometimes longer than my erect penis...

Another personal hygiene question for those older blokes around.

I have always suffered from smelly feet...especially in warmer weather...where it is incredibly noticeable.
I change socks every day, rotate the use of shoes, use a shoe spray every day (before putting them on), wash my feet every day...

However, despite my best efforts my feet stink. Sometimes in an office environment, the smell of my feet is so clear, it is very off-putting.

Anyone with advice?

I never had this particular problem, but I think I can recommend You to try alun (potassium alun) stone or spray.

It's a kind of antiperspirant stuff in the past used for blocking small bleedings, especially shave induced ones (it was sold in sticks).

In the past, it was made of natural stone, today it's rather synthetic. Yes, it contains aluminium, as basically all antiperspirant items.

It is odorless and if applied in spray, it may help You to reduce sweating.

The problem with fragrant feet deodorants is that they often mix their pungent chemical smell with the body odor. This is not the solution.

Shoes rotation is a very good option. When it comes to sock change, I think changing them twice or even three times a day may also be helpful.

Yes, it's problematic and I'm symphatetic to You as I think I can understand Your embarassement. I don't have this particular problem, but I'm also rather fat, hairy and sweaty.

Thanks for replying and the response.
I quite liked the suggestion of changing socks 2 to 3 times a day. However, there are some impracticalities to doing this...the working day can sometimes be so busy and demanding that even creating time to use the toilet is very hard to do!

you could go barefoot or wear socks in the workplace

barefoot feet don't smell

wearing thin socks is cool too & is unlikely to smell

i personally use black socks for people with diabetes, i dont have diabetes but socks for people with diabetes are very comfortable, other socks i used for sports are like so tight

although you can get negative consequences, a lot of people are quite negative towards not socially accepted stuff, so if they see you barefoot or only wearing socks they may react in a negative way
i personally used to go barefoot in public in the past & i got a lot of negativity & negative reactions, fucking sheep
i also went barefoot & shirtless sometimes too & some people even insulted me & said negative comments about me, dont you just love the sheep

i recommend black socks because they are less notorious than barefoot but you can still get negative consequences

shoes make my feet smell bad but socks dont, i can wear those thin black socks for tons of hours and they never smell bad in the slightest (my feet tend to smell good)
i hate shoes

also you said in another post that your skin feels dry if i remember, dry soles feel like shit, socks makes you feel less dry

but you may get negative consequences from only wearing socks in the workplace because a lot of people are negative and hateful towards not socially accepted stuff

shoe rotation is a good idea (by shoe rotation i understand changing shoes several times?), if your workplace is negative & hateful and dont allow using only socks

Shoe rotation every day works well, but it means you need at least 5-6 decent pairs of work shoes.

Anyway, I was recently made redundant, and will be looking for work to start in the next 6-12 months. It will not be an issue, but as someone who is no spring chicken, I am looking for the right kind of job, in the right kind of workplace until I retire at 68 years old (or whenever this country's government will allow us to retire at in the future)...likely to be 70 years old.

I have enjoyed the time so far, after being made redundant. Another personal hygiene/self-grooming issue that I have always had is chronic halitosis. A couple of decades ago, I took up the courage to finally have the source of the chronic halitosis diagnosed.

The outcome was serious postnasal drip linked to allergic rhinitis, this caused xerostomia (dry mouth), leading to build up of tonsil stones, a white lining on my tongue etc.

When I was working full time, I would spend up to an hour every day on oral hygiene...and my breath still stunk.

Anyway, I have had my tonsils removed, to ensure the foul smelling tonsil stones are not there. But the postnasal drip, allergic rhinitis, dry mouth, white lining still persist leading to bad breath.

For me, it has always been just a case of reducing the severity of my bad breath.

Any one else willing to admit similar symptoms, and what advice do they have for this?

I understand Your problem, xxxVIPERxxx.

Me too, I had my tonsils removed because of sleep apnea. It helped a bit, but I struggle to sleep with the CPAP device, so the improvement is not as big as it could have been.

I do not have such an important problem with halitosis, but I am not completly free of it. Especially that there are periods when I feel really bad psychologically and sometimes I skip teeth brushing. Not good.

That being said, if there is any advice I can give You - You probably know the subject much better than me - is to not to omit tongue cleaning. Teeth and gums are the most important part of the deal, but the deposit that forms on the tongue is responsible for bad breath and other mouth health issues, so it's also important to keep it more or less clean.

That being said, I feel like the subject like this one is more interesting and more instructive that porn threads on the forum. Perhaps it's only me, but I feel like the forum is slowly dying. It's sad. It used to be such a nice place.

Thank you. I think it is an interesting topic too, and have been quite open about sharing my personal hygiene/self grooming issues on here.

Yes, absolutely...I never omit tongue cleaning.

In a previous post, I mooted that whilst I was working full time (most of my life), I would spend around an hour every day on oral hygiene.

This is a rough outline of what I would do:

During lunch time, after lunch...I would brush my teeth and gums, and use some alcohol-free mouthwash.

In the early morning and at night time I would do the following.

a) Gargle my mouth/throat with warm salt water.
b) Use dental floss.
c) Brush my teeth.
d) Use a tongue scraper.
e) Use an alcohol free mouthwash.
f) Use some nice-smelling handwash to clean the inner parts of my nose.

Despite doing all this, my breath still smelt and there have been many times when colleagues have complained of my halitosis.

My doctor/dentist combo believe it is a very serious form of postnasal drip that is the underlying cause of it. It can only be slightly alleviated, and can never fully disappear.
The clinical people did say that almost everyone suffers bad breath at some point. And chronic halitosis is a lot more common than people think.
