I open this ticket for the support guy advice, Petr Kapoun. Why this guy, Mark Zeri, owner of Perverx (the old guy) (www dot nofap dot com/forum/index.php?members/mark-zeri.49549/), is also selling the same video as Legalporno since more than half of a year on his site now? He can clearly see the the LegelPorno logo has been masked by Perverx logo. Is there other people who noticed that? Does it means that we can we sell the LegalPorno video too by putting our logo as Mark did on his site? (perverx dot com/index1.php)
I am confused... I expecting find other products on his site, not similar product as LegalPorno :/
Anybody agree with me that maybe the site Perverx is spoiling the site LegalPorno? Whas is the point to take a subscribe on Perverx if we can find same movie as here?
Anybody want to support LegalPorno against this spoil?
Thank you to all

I liked Perverx at the beginning because they did movies that we cannot find anywhere else. But now, it no worse to subscribe them if they give "fake" LP movies and if we can find originals here.
Anyone else can bring testimony about this to let LP react about it?
Thanks

But I still don't know if they licensed the content or not.

Well, lp does not profit much from sales, it gets most of its profit from free porn sites who have free lp videos on them. Example: you started your own free porn site and downloaded there all your lp videos that you had on your pc, hoping it will be popular and will have a lot of traffic. And it worked! It became a little popular and some companies put their banners and popups there, and then you started making money and you are happy. Then one fine day an lp official calls you and says: i think you owe us some money. Your site content is stolen from us but guess what? You seem to be a nice guy, we like you, so if you start giving us 90% of your profit you can continue, and all site owners agree, cuz they do not have other option, no pay - and the site will be closed. I am just surprised that guy charges money for lp videos, i assure yiu nobody pays.

Pirated. We'll get in touch with them.

You're not making any sense. No direct sales = no studios = no scenes produced.
If you like porn or anything else and think it's okay to grab it for free all the time you are stupid. If everyone was like this there would be nothing produced.

In theory, xxx. In real world the point is you take into account a premise that somebody is not going to pay or at least somebody is going to pay and your income will varry on how you balance the product's price according to this phenomenon. Just like public transportation fees for example.
We can clearly see that on TKT prices.

It's definitely (old) Sineplex/LP scenes. But I don't know if Perverx licenced them legally or not. Hope someone from LP can confirm.

Oldshark wrote:The buffet-style all-you-can-download paysites appear to have almost given up on attempting to control piracy, and that's understandable give how easy pirating typically is and how wide the world is. They've chosen, as you suggest, to view piracy losses as a built-in component of their costs that they can't avoid or even much reduce. So they have to set their prices based on the premise that they're going to be losing much, or maybe even most, of their potential profits to pirates. That means they either have to raise prices to continue covering their own costs and making any profit, or they have to cut back on quality/output/investment into new product.

That's contradiction. I don't think you can make somebody WANT to buy something if the counterfeit product is gonna be EXACTLY the same as the original. As long as it is, the piracy keeps going.
It's not really about THE content. It's about THE things that you can't get with the pirated product which keeps people buying original stuff. Be it build quality, extras stuff, product merchandise, hands-on experience, "early experience" advantage connecting ppl on social media networks, whatever.
The question is what it can be on porn site?

Hmm, believe me, personally it would piss you off if you had one. Maybe that's why xxx is mad about it, but business wise you have to take it into account.

From my experience I don't think it applies to porn so much. It certainly works to some degree in mainstream markets, but even there it can be a death trap, because you start building on the volume of the sales and you must go down with your margin to keep up with the competition, where there will always be somebody cheaper.
I believe specializing is the key to success (thus avoiding competition). Translated to porn, niches and added values are the key. You can even see how erotic fairs changed so much last years towards socializing, general entertainment, VOD, etc.
That's what made so LP successful (regardless of the real major source of revenue). They focused on simple no brainer heavy anal with teens, and lately daps. How simple.drevokocur66 wrote:And you have people that appreciate your work and reward you by buying your product.
I don't believe in that, especially in porn once it went all digital readily available online, where most of people watch it just for their own very short-time pleasure. If they have the chance to get for free, they will. Once it's done, it's over, it's not worth for most of them to pay for it, it must take a real connasseur to regulary pay for it. People don't want to pay for music, films, movies or public transport anymore, specially young people who are a big part of porn audience.
In my opinion adult movie business struggled big time not findingnew business models (or ppl don't want to change it), that's why you have to bring something extra ppl don't get when getting it for 0 $. By the way I believe in strong clever technical barriers, they are not solution but can help.
