The stagenames, nationalities and birth dates published on model reference websites can only ever be as good as the information which producers choose to make public, of course.

But it seems to me that probably professional producers and website owners do check the ID of girls who work for them, especially the young-looking ones, and always photograph the model holding her ID on the day of the shoot, to keep with her model release forms. Otherwise their scenes could not be sold openly to other prodessional websites.

Also, this seems like basic self-preservation, especially when working in countries where producers most sincerely do not want to experience the hospitality of local jails e.g. Brazil, Colombia, Russia, etc.

I agree but we can be sure Pablo was not the only one, he is the one they caught. I do not know that a European film maker could spot a defect in a falsified Colombian passport (or be expected to)..
