Most of us thought 3d glasses tvs were a gimmick, myself included. But I always held if they could get 3d tech from the screen itself, just by looking at it, I'd be on board.

Leia lume pad 2. You can play all 2d pics and videos in 3d! It pops out of the screen, no joke. Note: they have a program leia tube for YouTube and a few non porn sites to AI convert videos to 3d. If you want to watch crazy gangbang pork (or whatever you want) in 3d you just download it to the device, then use the Leigh player, press the 3d button, move it a couple feet from your face, and bang, assess and faces are sticking out of the screen. It's so cool.

$1100 is a lot. But that's just a midsection iPad pro and iPad pro doesn't have 3d...

3D porn is the best because it is basically augmented reality, but a tablet I don't know if that would do it for me.

I watch my 3D content on my projector screen that is 120 inches, or in my VR Quest 2 through Big Screen because i believe size really matters when it comes to 3D, specially if you want that immersion feeling.

Personally I prefer using the projector because if the girl is in frame, she feels real life size on a big projector screen.

Both technologies, the VR and the projector require wearing something on your head. So glasses free sounds appealing, and I would definitely love to try it because I imagine it looks very cool.

But the size factor will definitely be a block for me to jump in.

You're not wrong. Inch for inch, I would never watch 2d porn again. 3d is that damn good, and the implementation on this device is very convincing. However, you're right that longterm a 12 inch display does not do this tech justice. There's hope as Leia commented on multiple YouTube videos that implemting this on a large PC monitor is totally possible.

The lume pad 2 uses face tracking via two front cameras, so it can only produce the 3d effect for one user's face at a time. While this is a barrier to implement on a family TV there should be no conflict with putting this into a monitor.

The coolest thing about this device is there's a way to see literally ANY 2d photo or video in 3d. The thing with the old 3d tvs as I understand is you had to have content designed for the tech. I'm not sure if that's true as o never owned one of those 2012 era 3d tvs

Also, while I like VR porn as well, there's a hardcore/gonzo type content shortage. It's almost all POV 1-1. While that's good sometimes, it's cool as he'll to see Ría Sunn taking 5 facials sticking out of the screen, or Vitoria Biatrizs ass popping out of the screen at you. Lol

Yes you do. In fact, movies made from 2D to 3D required a human touch for making proper, which is why software alone was never enough to make a proper conversion. Obviously AI changes that limitation.

But the problem with 3D TVs in my opinion besides the obvious problem with the price points, and the use of glasses, was also the size. No 3D TV was above 77 inches, and you need at least 100 to get that augmented reality sensation that makes 3D really valuable.

Which is why people with projectors that do 3D still embrace 3D while TV owners do not.

VR tech has solved this temporarily. But the future is in augmented reality when it comes to 3D because it gives the most realistic approach.

3D is an old tech from the 1800s and is definitely not going away.

As far as the size limitation, as you mentioned, having 3D in an AR device like the Vision Pro or whatever knockoffs are released would be the ultimate solution as you could adjust the perceived size as desired.

However, I don't think I'm as married to the specific size you're looking for. You said 77" isn't enough but horizontally a full woman can fit in that frame (she'd be 6 foot 7 laying down, lol).

While 12" isn't enough I recommend checking it out if you get the chance. Any next purchase for me would been to be 27" +, but likely I'll wait for the AR headset implementation. One thing I don't get is if, how and when the 3d will be implemented in an AR device (like a Quest 3, or whatever). VR 180 vids produce a VR image, and this Leia pad produces 3d via the screen technology itself and AI, so I imagine for the AR device to do what the Leia device does (make any 2D image into 3D) there will have to be some kind of app built specifically for the AR/VR device that uses a similar AI conversion technology.

(77”) has a height of 39”, width of 67.8”, so she will be a little bit above 5 feet laying down, which isn't bad, but anything above 100" is better.

However if the room is small, 77" may be big enough, it is all relative. although, for 3D, some distance from the screen is required for that pop. With AR you don't have to worry about that. But again the technology sounds dreamy. I can imagine a 110" Micro LED Samsung TV with this technology will definitely kill.

Maybe someday I'll give it a try, I actually want a bigger TV in my room. I wish those Samsung QLED came in 110 inches, but I believe the larger they have is 86". 110 inches is the perfect size TV in my opinion.

By the way, that new Apple visor looks like trash, all gimmicky marketing as always. Apple sucks.

I own no Apple products (only products I ever owned were a MacBook pro and ipod around like 2012).

That said, that Vision Pro is an exciting product for no other reason than the display tech. It has 3.5k per eye micro OLED panels which come close to human retina resolution and also have great blacks and colors. The manufacturing costs for the displays alone are $700.

Is it overpriced? Sure. Will this create excitement that will be bleed better tech into other non-Apple company devices? Also, yes. Overall it's a major positive that Apple is doing this.

There's old forums of people bashing iPhone, and later the Apple watch, and now they both destroy.

The Vision Pro will destroy. Probably by version 3 in 2026. Apple has literally no intention of selling a lot of gen1 devices as they have supply chain problems anyway. It's about getting the tech to developers.

Most everything the guy ways in this video is wrong, except for it not likely to sell well, which Apple knows.

I'm not saying Apple stuff doesn't sell, people are easy to fool. I believe there are people that still will think this headset is going to introduce something we haven't seen before cheaper elsewhere. I bet some people even think the headset is coming with see-through AR, and not just another screen at the front with a video feed creating the false effect of AR.
