So called "base rating" consists of the list of scenes for each model, each of these scenes consists of acts, and each of acts has certain "point" - the stronger to perform the bigger this point it will be. In couple of words, overall scene points = acts points x model performance + scene popularity on this site. Sometimes "strongest scene" and most popular scene are the same, sometimes not.

here is an example for you of Valentina's scenes and how it all looks like:

most left column is column for "strongest scene". Column O "Scene Fame" - is for most popular scene, and before it are the places the scene is taking for now Ever (top-500) / Year (top-100 scenes) / Month (top-40 scenes)
so "VALENTINA MILAN anal destruction 7on 1 -dap-fisting-gape-prolapse" is not on top-500 ever bestsellers, is #98 in year's bestsellers and #8 in month bestsellers (I didn't divide to solo/duo/group scenes so this is a bit different with site trophies).

WOW! It is incredible to see that Emily Pink is outscoring Natasha Teen currently!
Natasha Teen will be a certain legend and hall of famer on LPAV one day...but she is only second.
Goes to show how much being active, regularly performing, and starring in the best scenes makes to a girl's popularity.

As good as Emily is, compared to what Natasha has done and contributed - I feel Natasha should be first.

These results please me greatly as the launch of Natasha Teen Production in 2020 was just a special group of girls that are still going strong in the industry (Daniela Ortiz, Emily Pink, Alicia Trece) and all 3 will get their ticket punched to the next round.

Clear separation of the top talent. How do you decide if 5 or 6 advance to the Top 50 again?

It's a combination of factors: how "strong" the group is (average base rating) and how many girls we need to form a "logical" group in next round.
This Latin group has 2nd strongest average rating's places - 50,2, USA has 48,3 and other groups are 60+ (the lower the stronger), and if we exclude Valentina Milan who jump there last moment, it will be 40,9 - by far the strongest one.
But this is only one reason, the second is that we need 6 girls from here to form a "Global South" group in next round: Veronica Leal + Francys Belle + 6 girls from this group + Jureka and May Thai (they mast advance too) = 10 girls.
But if this group were significantly "weaker", I would come up with a different grouping in the next round - not with Asian couple but maybe with Americans or else, so we would needed less advancing places.

For Czech/East Europe and Russian groups rules are a bit different. Both regions already has three girls in top-50 round, so the formula for them is:
3 girls already + 3x2 girls from both groups + best 4th place = top-10 Russians and top-10 Czechs (and most likely Slovak Timea )

Rest two groups are "Atlantic" (USA+CAN+GBR, Queen Anna already there) and "Continental Europe" (Europe without Brits, Czechs and Russians, Jolee Love already there). Rules there are more complicated but the principles are the same.
