Any of you guys have interesting (to you) hobbies that you kind of ehem, keep underwraps!?

I enjoy painting toy soldiers. I have armies of old Airfix soldiers I learned to paint. I'm not great mind you, you see some great guys on youtube.

These are 1/72 scale, I have also 1/32 scale superb collection I'd love build 'dioramma' with if I ever get time.

I used to import from Ireland moulds from 7 years war too & paint them. It was cool. Obscure kind of war, Great Northern War also. The key was getting the right metals at good price, otherwise expensive hobby.

That post was kind of a joke. I am neither wealthy nor important.

Serious answer: I am fascinated by the possibility of extraterrestrial life and the UFO phenomenon, and have kept up with the topic pretty closely for the past 15 years. To make a long story short, no, I don’t think that UFOs are necessarily aliens from other planets, but yes, I do think there is something significant about them that we haven’t yet pieced together. We are definitely missing part of the puzzle.

I would never reveal a horrendous and extremely boring hobby of mine, collecting vintage furniture. It would put women off any potential second date for sure.

Collecting is an innate masculine trait. Maybe it's the thrill of the hunt, the pleasure to own things, I don't know. But it's funny how it's almost incomprehensible to most women. Most would call us borderline autistic for that.

I used to collect and paint miniatures (mostly Warhammer - never played the game, just painted the armies). Then, it was old books (1960s or less) of my favorite authors. The thrill was to find the oldest ones at the fairest price.

Nowdays I don't collect anymore but it diverted into something related; researching and comparing a lot before buying a product. It's not even for a financial reason, it's just... fun. Lol.
