Can't join "Private" studio since i'm "already member"?!

So, I sent about this also in support chat, but they disappeared since then so i'm also sending here

When i try to join the "private" studio membership, i get to the payment page, i try to pay (using paypal), and then i'm being declined - with an error that a "membership already exists" -
what the hell does that mean?

I had a membership with them in the last few months (that i cancelled after 1 month, and signed up directly on their website) that i've since CANCELLED

I much prefer the PB interface and it's much easier to search for videos here and filter etc. -
their site is NOT convenient to navigate

Do i really have to use their website and can't sign up from PB just because i signed up to them in the past???

Yes, there is an error that forbids different membership types.
However, your account does not have any active membership at the moment.

Will investigate.

I have not found any traces of an active membership on your account.

We can try moving your account to a different email and that might clear this up. Would you be ok with that?

changing the underlying email of my account just because of one studio seems problematic to me (and i don't want it)
i feel like the problem should be solved at the level of interface between you and "private",
you don't need to identify me to them using my email, use something else...

otherwise, anyone who ever had a membership on private can't ever use private on PB? that's kinda silly

if you can't solve it on your end somehow (or by talking to private) i will just go ahead and subscribe to their annoying, inconvenient website....

In the end i changed my billing method to Credit card and managed to get the subscription through PB

but now i'm getting errors when downloading some videos

WHY IS THERE ALWAYS NOTHING BUT ERRORS IN THIS WEBSITE???

i'm getting an "unauthorized" error when trying to download :
