I was thinking about new xxx scene/series ideas that would involve a mix of Russian male/female stereotypes, which would be clearly recognised and famous/infamous in Russia (for the home xxx market), but that would also be equally well understood for consuption by a Western/International audience.
And after long and careful deliberation (OK, a train journey long), I think these two would work best in terms of contrast and character stereotypes to pair up for adult scenes.
The rough-and-ready chaotic Gopniks, always getting into trouble, often a bit out of control and unpredictable.
And the stereotype (a sexist stereotype admittedly) of the stunning and sophisticated jet-setting Russian air hostess.
Put them together in a scene and I just think that set-up has huge potential for a Russian series.
The costumes are easy to find and cheap to buy (sexy air hostess costumes party wear on ebay everywhere).
And the setting could believable be either hotel rooms (between flights amusement with the locals for the air hostesses), or offices (perhaps the Gopniks are taken into customs to be strip searched for contraband, and things naturally escalate).
I think it would be a very Russian (though Internationally appreciated) theme, with the potential for humour and mixing direcly contrasting stereotypes.
Maybe you love the idea, or hate the idea, but the idea made me smile, so there it is. For your consideration, and to ask your team if they think it is something they could have some fun playing with.
