Thats the case as far as I understood all price discussions from mid April onwards.
But why should I care if its 9,9 or 9,89 or 9,89163 tickets? Its all the same for me: Expensive, but too hot to skip or expensive and too expensive to buy.
TheVulture wrote:This isn't a gripe about the cost of scenes but more this weird change to 2 decimal places with the ticket prices that has come about fairly recently. It's all a bit weird - what's the reasoning behind it?
I always thought even having 1 decimal place was a bit odd. I would have thought there would be a way to differentiate between scenes for 6, 7, 8, 9 etc. tickets without needing that. But adding the extra decimal place just seems totally unnecessary.
Part of my issue with it is that I'm very OCD and have a thing with odd numbers (don't ask). I can just about cope with the concept of, say, 9.7 tickets but 9.47 tickets is a total "fingernails scraping down a blackboard" vibe with me.
Not saying it's a deal-breaker or anything. I am sure I'll live. But it sure as hell is odd.
Can anyone explain what is going on here? Would anyone else favour a return to at least a more palatable 1 decimal place like me?

Hmm but that doesn't explain how they always used to be 1 decimal place, does it? What has changed?

I know! But dont have we other problems here as users than decimal? Is it really that important whether a scene costs 11,55557 or 11, 56 or 11,6 or 12 tkt? Open even a thread for it, when we could discuss girls performances and thus help directors/studios instead?

TheVulture wrote:No-one has actually explained why this has come about either, which was really the crux of the thing. That would need a moderator I guess.
dap-addict wrote:I tried to explain it based on what I know: Studios set a price in $ they want per scene. Since most users buy videos with tickets and conversion rate from tkt to $ had been adjusted mid April a new course is taken to convert the tickets. This has apparently lead to more precise tkt prices, which indeed look odd at times.
Can you live with such an answer? (you might wanna read back dozens of posts of me, YumYum and others trying to work this out with xxx, Gio, Oscar Batty etc.) Or do you need xxx to come here again and explain it?![]()
TheVulture wrote:I still don't really explain why it didn't used to happen though. What happened in April exactly? (...) The bigger question then - is there a way for them to do it differently (ie better)?
