Everythjing make so much more sense when you abandon the religious angle and understand the natural angle of evolution. Hair protect the body, keep moisture in the area. Armpit air, prevent friction and blister while working, same for pubic hair, keep moisture close to the skin to keep it healthy.

Got good quality clothes now and we don't scavenge food in the bushes anymore, so the need for it is not as important today as it was before.

Indeed, if it's the actual concept of there being any pubic hair.
