Hey DAP-A, just wanted to chime in on the scars topic you asked about. As somebody said, 7-12 months. Yes in ideal situation/conditions and relentless skin care topical creams/moisturizers ect... typically more like 15-18months, And that is for the "under-boob" single incision side to side style operation. Then you also have the "lollipop" incision, which much like it sounds, it's a vertical incision from bottom center up to the areola and encircles the areola/nipple. This is the most intensive type operation, and is typically seen used in breast "lifts" & "reductions". It could also include a side to side horizontal incision on the "under" area. Much like in the first example I gave. This is only done in the most drastic operations/corrections. Healing time is around 2yrs to 2.5yrs for the most drastic operations. and even longer sometimes. Then there is the areola/nipple trace/cutout healing time is about the same as the first example, but the benefit here is that is you have a VERY skilled surgeon with a steady hand the resulting scars can be almost impossible to spot either on camera or IRL. Because the areola creates a "natural boundary" or line to "cut". Unlike the first example where the is NO difference in skin tone/color to hide the scars of surgery.
And Last But Not Least;
There is yet another method, which I personally don't understand why not EVERYONE would choose this option. That is the incision into the armpit and the implant slid down to the breast from there. The scars are rarely even able to be seen. Only visible when the arm is lifter up in the air and viewed from straight on or slight angles. I also think that this type can yield the the best looking most "natural" look. Very slight hang and very slight outwards facing.
With each type of operation there is sometimes 2 options for placement (in front or behind) or maybe only 1.
Also every person has a different healing rate and ability to "absorb" or heal or blend a scar. Which I HAVE ZERO CLUE ABOUT. But every person by the time they're old enough to even get the procedure will know how THEIR skin reacts & heals to/from trauma, be it from contusions (bruising) or incisions (cuts) will base their decision off of that a MANY OTHER FACTORS.
I AM NOT A DOCTOR. NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. Just a big fan of boobies! all shapes & sizes, natural or augmented. Plus I date a chick the had an operation done and was right next to her the whole time, so I learned a few things...
