I don't get this statement at all. For many reasons.
You're front line in the fight against the price hikes, yet you ALWAYS seem to default back to GIO fanboi mode and defend him at all costs (literally). I've seen this behaviour from you many times before. Unless there is still some language barrier, as I know English to not be your 1st language....

Also the price of stockings (how do you even know what brand and model? they are to comapre?) cost more for the END USER/CUSTOMER for several or many reasons. Raw materials harder to procure, delays in packaging, increased shipping costs, Labor shortages means more overtime hrs for already employed workers, more stops in the supply chain (more hands to touch product, means higher price). So on & so on....

The price to produce a scene HAS NOT changed. The process to "manufacture" a new "product" (scene) HAS NOT changed. He (as far as I know) HAS NOT had to hire significantly more employees. There is NO raw material needed to procure to make his "product". (unless you consider female and even male talent "raw material", but then you walking a dangerous line regarding considerations of people "product" and not human. Another topic for another day, I'm not touching that). There is no physical "shipping" or "distribution" networks needed, hell there isn't even a PHYSICAL PRODUCT! It's all digital & virtual which means it's a ONE TIME purchase, not a constantly reoccurring charge for each new "batch" of product.

The only thing that COULD cost more is flights/travel. But that's on HIM, NOT US! He's the only studio that does that, but to be fair, I don't exactly go looking for who else does. I'd imagine I've had heard about it more then just the once (him) in my 20+yrs following the adult biz if it were a wide spread thing. In the USA flights are CHEAPER despite inflation. Not alot of people flying as before, so prices go down. Not as low as 2020 pandemic level prices, but still well below 2018 when COVID wasn't even a word to 99.9% of the world. I'm assuming the same applies (mostly) to the rest of the world.

Matt, GIO studio has fully implemented that PB-inflicted de facto 35% price rise. Giorgio explained to me and other critics of ticked devaluation by 35% that he first has to test the market because sales will drop ofc. I am talking tongue-in-cheek about stockings in a price range of 3,5 to 9,2$, which may have cost 1,75-4,6$ in local currency a year ago.
Do I therefore defend GIO's price policy? - I did and do still defend his product and the quality of it, but all products have a price that needs to be reasonable and fair for the customer.
Now lets see how much even most expensive stockings used in that scene increase the end price for me as a customer? Or asked the other way round: Does an increase of 4,6$ make a price rise of 35% fair? - No it doenst! Therefore I put that wink smiley.

I still praise the quality of the very best studios on here, of which Giorgio is definitely one of them. I am also very appreciative that in another forum thread, both xxx and Giorgio Grandi took time to respond to fans/customers.

When my personal matters are resolved, time permitting, and if prices return to what I perceive is a more reasonable level...all the scenes that are on my watchlist will be bought. I can do a big buy of lots of tickets, to get all the scenes that I have not been buying but want to.

I know I can easily download these scenes for free on torrent sites, but I actually want to help/support porn. If everyone is a porn pirate, the business would suffer and no one would make money. I want the industry to continue, more importantly to thrive and to evolve into something that becomes better and better.

Back on to the topic of Jolee Love. I did say her pleaser heels are stunning, and damned right they are! Compare this with the glorious year of 2016, when I got 145 scenes! Yes 145! Those were the good old days when membership was worth it, free tickets got you plenty of supplemental porn and the girls were plentiful and hot. Granted I have had little disposable income in the last couple of years, which has impacted my porn purchasing habit; however the new pricing model has effectively priced me out of the market. Compare this to the four year membership of Brazzers which cost me a mere £160 quid and I can watch and download any scene I like. Yes I know I'm not comparing like for like, but it represents much better value for money.

I'm 100% NOT trying to offend here, or start a fight. I'm just trying to get to the point & be honest. So with all due respect, You are genuinely a MAJOR part of this current "situation" going on. Not you singularly or specifically; but others like you as well. Buying MASS amounts of scenes each day. Keep doing so as prices steadily climb year after year. No matter how much crap "filler" content they shove on the main page, you buy some & ask for more. That confirms in their minds that they're ok, not going too far. With either, prices & filler. So they go at it some more & some more...... And here we are. Management almost exclusively catering to new & "newer" members, too dumb to realize what the current "market prices" were. In such a boner haze & sensory overload at the "new" genre of porn you've discovered, that you had to have it "all", & all at once!
Ownership was trying to raise prices for a while back then (2017) +/- a year. But every time they talked about it in the forum, it was met with heavy opposition (naturally), but the talks also INCLUDED what members WOULD be willing to PAY. Lets just say that mark has been eclipsed a while ago.
XXX just said the other day (paraphrasing here) "he doesn't want this place to be more expensive or less expensive than other market places." This was said in context/relation to content providers setting abnormally high prices here to drive customers to THEIR OWN site/store. That he'd be kicking out "bad apples".
But if it's his content, it's okay to price hike and take advantage of people to dumb or uninformed to know better. Hence why I can find MANY examples like the following .

Yes, I know where and how to & I feel the same way. I also agree to an extent. Ownership risks driving away once paying customers. Not just that though, not only are they not going to make some sales because of too high a price. But now those people that don't have the best "moral fabric" or even ones who are now just pissed off will get what they want for free. AND of that group of people SOME WILL NEVER come back to pay for scenes. They've "crossed over" or were "driven away" in their minds. They see it's easy and didn't get arrested, so will continue to do so. Only the highest "character" people will come back to pay now, or not even leave in the first place...
One last thing; I want the "business" to evolve also, but brother this is the WRONG PLACE if you're hoping for that. This place will just keep taking your money (ever increasing amounts) and keep on pumping out the SAME MIND-NUMBINGLY REPETITIVE SCENES.
*to be clear, I do fell this place has "fairly good" to "good" new content. It's just that it could be MUCH better, with VERY LITTLE to almost NO EFFORT!!!

I do think that as you rightly point out, I am probably not the only one who fits into that category (of buying lots of scenes).

Let's hope there is a calming of the price increases, I do not expect that they will ever get back to 5-6 tickets per premium scene.
However, there is hope that some studios will decrease the ticket prices compared to the 11-14 tickets (ish) that we are currently seeing.

And everyone sticked just to 14 days rule, that more or less often was broken with some new girl s, got their debut scenes, or established stars got Release after few months absence. From what I saw in the last few months, no rule about this for GIO stuff... GIO, XF, GL... Sometimes you can see even 3, 4 upcoming scenes, sometimes 1. Sometimes will be visible 10 hours, 7 hours, 3 hours, or 2 hours before midnight CET and new releases. Sometimes they release those 1 by 1 night after night, sometimes some of those still stay unreleased 5, 7, 10 days... And some "surprise" scene being released in that period, not visible on that way until the moment of Release. Still, even that is better than nothing... Of course, we can see something on Twitter and Instagram but no notes about Release day and sometimes not even about type of scene, 1 girl, 2 girls, DAP, DP or TAP, Wet or dry. Only rare exception is when Giorgio, Angelo, Florane, Oscar, xxx... Make a post on forum "that scene coming tonight, tomorrow night'...

By the way, some of upcoming SZ was also visible on that way, couple of months ago but I guess that now with rare updates, they want to stay in complete silence.
