I presumed it was ticket subs, but now every time I go to buy a scene (no matter how old it is), the 'buy now' price is significantly cheaper than the ticket value. For a random example, a scene marked as 6.4 ticket - when I click on the question mark next to it, it says it's 'equivalent to £9.60' , but the 'Buy it Now' price is only £7.35.
Once my existing tickets run out, Is there any point in buying ticket subs anymore?
TLDR: I think paying in tickets is still always cheaper than "buy now".

BUT you take the risk of paying cash up front to buy tickets which can only be spent on this site and potentially could be devalued if management choose to change the exchange rate at which you can exchange the tickets for scenes.
I think that until recently each ticket was worth £1.15 to spend on scenes.
After the recent devaluation, I think each tkt is only worth £0.85.
However, the price to purchase tkts in GBP is currently always lower than £0.85.
The most expensive ticket package is 10 tkt for £7.89 or 79p per tkt.
So you buy tickets at 79p and exchange for scenes at 85p per ticket.
To buy your example scene with a "buy now" price of £7.35 would cost 8.65 tickets at a maximum cost of 79p each which is £6.83
I think the £9.60 "equivalent" shown in the question mark pop-up window is a programming error.
9.60 is actually the US dollar value of 6.40 tickets at the old, pre-devaluation rate of USD 1.50 per ticket.
