Site Quality Control

I know we all have our own ideas of what AnalVids should be and is but the only opinion that matters is XXX. I'm not trying to change his vision but more talk about minimum standard for a site, that although its name keeps changing has established reputation and hopefully maturity with its loyal customers. What I'm talking about is stuff like:

• trailer - that inform customers what they are purchasing not the 1st 30 seconds of the scene I.e. https://pornbox.com/application/watch-page/202233
• pictures - even if it is just a few 10 or less pictures of the models posing, not just screen captures
• downloads speed - I buy many scenes from many studios and speeds vary depending on what studio you download from and also the age of the scene. It is like some studios have higher priorities.
• scene description - some studios call DP a scene with 2 dildo in a model pussy and ass at the same time, others call DP just two males penetrating a model and what I believe most people expect DP to be two males penetrating a models pussy and ass at the same time.

It seems the site is becoming not just a few studios and the brand, but the site is becoming a platform for many different studios to post scenes on.

^Yes, I understand that but when you go buy a new vehicle there are minimum expectations I have at the dealership, don't you ? For instance,

• I expect dealership to be clean and salespeople friendly
• I expect to test drive the vehicle
• I expect a complete vehicle ( wheel, doors, steering, polished, new car smell, etc)
• I expect when I ask salesperson for a truck they don't show me a motorcycle because they are both vehicles

I don't think I'm asking for anything special to expect highlight of scenes content in the trailer, gallery pictures and accurate fetish descriptions.

Things like scenes without trailers are annoying, but there are so many hundreds of scenes published every week, that I just use that as a handy excuse to ignore them. If the producers can't even be bothered to upload a decent trailer, I take that as a good indicator that it's likely a pretty shoddy product, and not worth bothering with.

I think a simple change (OK, I'm no computer tech, but the principle is simple) that would make a huge difference to the customer experience would be to change the new scenes feed from 'opt out' to 'opt in'.
ie. Instead of getting everything as default, and then having to then use tags/flters/blocks to dig in and sift through new content, you start with nothing (tabla rasa) and add into your feed only those models and those studios in which you have an interest. So an additive model, not a subtractive one. And you can fine tune that as you go on.

Failing that...

I think long-standing studios (Gonzo, NRX, GG, etc) should exist in an entirely different feed to both big US producers piggy-backing the forum for more exposure, and to bedroom cammers selling through the forum.
This is not a criticism of either the big US studios or the cammers, I repsect and support various content producers in both those categories, but as someone above has put it simply 2015-2018 period was far less of a headache re navigating new releases.

One final thing...

I also think some kind of maximum tag per scene should be imposed on releases (10 maybe, perhaps a poll could decide).
While the original intention was valid and helped to draw members attention to those niches and fetishes they follow, what I think is happening now is that some (increasing numbers) of producers are basically 'gaming the tag system' to the detriment of the quality of the scenes in general, by gratuitously throwing random and unrelated acts/niches into scenes (a couple of mintues of this act, a few moments of that act - so they can add another tag).

The result of which is that fans of those niches/acts are led by the algorithm to content that is only marginally/cynically addresses that niche.
And perhaps worse (tail wagging the dog syndrome) I am beginning to get the impression that it also results in scenes that end up a random-confused best-of 'trolley dashes' through the niche supermarket, to the point that the tag system is effectively driving the direction and narrative of the content produced, rather than simply and honestly describing it.

And yes it is annoying, but I think the new vision for the site is to be a crappier version of [spam]. I'm sure it is profitable...

They're trying out new things with the site and increasing the variety of content. Much of it isn't yours or my liking, but with the filters that they'll release I think most of the frustrations will be resolved. Ther current situation in Europe will also affect the amount and type of content we get and there's not much we can do about it.

On the bright side, there are some newer studios that have been releasing great content IMO. Angelo Godshack Original, VK Studio, NRX-Studio and Yummy estudio have all released some great scenes.
