Studios are very interested because Asian girls sell quite good, but talent pool is very limited in Europe. Only local talent pool are Siberian girls in Russia. To this you can add asian communities in Netherlands, France, Italy and Czech. Its a very small population to choose from.
Europe is not US in this respect, and in many other respects either.

There's no real motivation for any of those models to work outside Japan though, there's a big enough market there to sustain a career and it's a long way from Japan to Europe and the US, where the language and culture are very different to what they're used to. By the way, that's true in other areas of Japanese life - like music. As dap-addict said, you mostly have to rely on recruiting from within Europe and the US, from immigrant communities or from the Asian regions of Russia, so it's no surprise that there's relatively few Asian models working in Europe.
