Didnt add an individual consumer change with me that will come into effect really only in 2022 I think and is maybe too peculiar. But I can still tell about, maybe others have had the same last year:
In 2021 I funded myself a yet much deeper insight into Prague biz on one hand by helping Ava Harris and on the other by doing more porn girl interviews (St. Bloom, S. Soprano, Sh. Thorne etc. viewtopic.php?f=96&t=25243&hilit=Interviews#p314581). Both experiences were very interesting and deeply moving, but they also revealed a biz in a deeper crisis at least from performers POV than I used to see before.

Ava made me buy more DP to truly support the girls I want to watch DAP-ed. She finally convinced me it was worth doing, even though I still think DP can be skipped with many girls. But she showed me that there are also many girls who do need DP on their way to DAP (or DPP for fans of this fetish).
Silvia and also - and her to a much deeper extent - Stacy made me think more about reasons "our" girls get into porn for and also about self-empowering effect of this line of work, given true support by good people inside.

This all didn't really change my user habits so far, but it might on the long run.
True I bought some more DP scenes, even a few solo scenes, but I compensated with buying a bit less DAP scenes.

Without checking I have the feeling it is somewhat similar for me. Just as one example: yesterday I skipped both the Gonzo and Gio scenes, while buying two of the Russian scenes.

Still buying Gonzo/Gio scenes when I like the model combined with what the scene promises, but there is less and less of what I like for both studios. Already mentioned my issue with Gonzo elsewhere (compared to the Luis years there are just too many models I just can't get into), but at least their action is still pretty decent most of the time. For Gio it's just an overall thing: too much prolapse (I've completely lost interest in Anna de Ville for example, ALL her scenes have prolapse these days), too many MILFs and way too much silicone for my tastes. I will say that I do like most of the Italian newbies, but when paired with a 'prolapser' (which happens a lot in my view) I still pass on those scenes.

I have plenty of issues with the Russian studios as well: camerawork is often not up to par, too much fake cum (looking at you, NRX), not enough swallowing (mainly at VK), and a lot of times they don't bother with a high res picture set (why not? it really adds to a scene). But their girls are almost without exception gorgeous, and that elevates them generally above Gonzo and Gio at the moment.

My case is weird because in 2021 I bought 570 new videos, which is more than what I bought in 2020.

In 2020 I only bought 320 new videos.

The difference is that overall in 2021 I bought 915 videos, (new + old).

However in 2020 I bought 2,125 videos, (new + old).

Which means in 2020 I bought more than double the quantity of videos I bought in 2020.

And there are two reasons for that:

1. In 2020 videos were cheaper
2. I was a brand-new costumer in 2020, so I had more videos to catch on from previous years, and even today I still do.

In fact, my first purchase ever was Xmas 2018, Xmas 2019, Xmas 2017, Xmas 2016, Xmas 2015, and GIO310 on February 9th, 2020, and that's when all began for me as regular costumer.

I've mentioned this in other topics but that's my explanation for my vote in this poll. I will say ticket prices are starting to creep up and the monthly reset doesn't go nearly as far as it use to which makes me really carefully choose what I purchase. I choose the same girls once I know they deliver each time.

You want to support the girls, but you have to be realistic too, and the good thing about having a big backlog is that you always end up finding something you really enjoy, which is probably the reason you bought it in the first place.

In a way it is a good thing because since you end up buying less, you end up getting more of what you really like, as oppose of just experimenting with things that look attractive, but may not be what it looks like.

Its basically cheep still 9-10tkt for a multiple girl scene with 5-7 studs, but of course compared to previous prices it looks expensive. Because previously scenes were sold way too cheap, both xxx and Giorgio Grandi explained that multiple times.

But for us users subjective feeling counts. Thus I am not really surprised its 9 vs. 6 votes currently. Because price rise just makes you more selective, it does it with me also, even I know its still pretty cheap for the level of porn quality I get here.

Today for instance there was that nice package rcDAP position Anna de Ville does recently and I am really into that super flexible trick of hers, but than its 8,9tkt, and many cons like prolapse, badly chosen fishnets etc. Thus I skip what I would have easily bought for 5,5tkt 2 years ago.

Btw, luckily today I was lucky enough to get a missing Blanche Bradbury DAP in free tickets section, thus my porn consumer day is saved.

I've reduced buying scenes long time ago since there was nothing interesting me in the LP output except of Taylee Wood scenes. However, in 2021, the Russian studios appeared. Now I'm buying only Russian made scenes with Russian next-door-girls. I've no more any interest in other studios.

I chose the 'bought same amount as 2020' but would define that (poll wouldn't let me choose more than one option, which would have made more sense I think) as buying less Gonzo/GG content due to the sensational 2021 Latin American and Russian invasion.

I actually wonder how that has worked out for AV as a financial bet, to invite other producers to sell through the AV network for a fee.
Yes, thay get a percentage on product they don't have to create, so apparently free money (minus any AV site overheads).
But if (as is my case, and many others too I think) they are selling less Gonzo/GG product as a consequence, with whom they have a close relationship (not sure of the contractual ins-and-outs, but Gonzo/GG seem core to AV, while others peripheral), then they may be no better off, perhaps even worse off.

I gernally buy one scene a week (which easily falls within the monthly allowance), and the outstanding balance left over I use for *special emergency* scenes, such as this week with Valentina Milan and Cyber Shot both releasing great new scenes within days of each other. That is my definition of a special emergency anyway!

I also wonder (hope) if the increased presence of the Latins and Russians among best sllers may see Gonzo and GG exploring other niches and being more adventurous this year. They still make great content, but varaiety is the spice of life etc.

On that theme, I'm not the only forum member who has recently said they would like to see a GagsGirls/HotshotHookups type slopppy oral series here (or even an entire dedicated studio). Perhaps that will finally materialize in 2022.

For example I've been waiting for Daniela Ortiz's 6on1 DAP/DP Piss scene to come out, she delivers every damn time so ordinarily it would be an insta-buy but at 9.8 tickets I've been waiting so far. This almost double of what I saw when I became a member in 2016. 4-5 tickets and usually it was no less than a 4on1 gangbang. I'm happy with the talent and video quality at Gio's, Gonzo, Natasha Teen Productions, Yummy etc but this rise in cost is significant, you only get what 40 tickets per month? That only allows about 5 videos a month, which does not go nearly as far as it used to. I'm sure they things priced in the right zone where the revenue is there without dropping sales. Just take buy less because of tkt rise vs. buy more because of catering for my festish option now. Its almost balanced, which shows that expanding main and side fetishes payed Pornbox off well probably.

As for the price rise it sure hurts, but again a 6on1 DAP scene with a girl flown in all the way from Columbia at 9,8tkt isn't really that much! Especially if you start thinking a bit beyond your own wallet and more biz sustainable. If you recharge with the 120tkt you pay about 6,5$ for that scene. Balance this to the amount they had to invest to get that scene done, pay DAP fee for a top model, pay 6 studs half of them rare BBC, split travel costs by maybe 10scenes, pay studio bills etc.

Of course, me too, I have become more picky after the big price rise in Summer 2020.
But I also have to be fair enough to see that at least AVLP core studios have still a very fair pricing policy.

Its a big price rise, but mainly based on numbers not local buying power.
Prices for lots of things have risen a lot in Prague last 5y.
And Ria Sunn was a local girl, she hadnt to be flown in.

Since I've just really started being focused on this site and less to others since last year, my purchases here over the years are not that much comparable.
I just bought and signed up here and there, but now I am more focused on this site.

The forum is unravalled. I think it is just fair, beside of what you've already mentioned, to price in the availability of such a well structured and dedicated forum
connected to models, studios, scenes etc. Other porn providers haven't got this kind of "comparative advantage" as far as I know.

Assessing prices and deciding how to spend money, I think it is important to what you are focusing on and what creates real value for you.
I am now also more focusing on scenes to better catering my fetishes rather than just having the newest scene with a new model.
So older scenes which cater my fetishes best and are even cheaper are more preferable than just the newest one or the newest one with a girl
who just delivers the 5th scene which is similar to her previous ones.

Nevertheless, I will also carry on buying new scenes. However it has to be guaranteed that fetishes are satisfied.
In this case I am rather happy to spend 10TKT and having a very hard scene than buying a soft one which cost 7.5...

If I remember it correctly the last regular scene I bought was in 2020 Zoe Sparx "Drowned in Piss" (not Zoe Sparks, LP philistines!).
From then on because of all those soulless cookie cutter scenes my kind of an "boycott" started. Now it´s 2022...

Apart from her parts the rest was extremely disillusioning.

in the past I was purchasing mostly everything and it was good for all studios. Cost have increased a lot. So, you have created a strong competition between the different studios .For sure, the quality is important but why have you organized this competition between studios?

AVLP was in 2021 in a lasting long term decline, similar to previous years which also indicates a number of critical topics(often justified ).EXCEPT FOR...the last 2-3 months of year.With the AG studio start,Emilys comeback and some russians models/scenes there is a certain change for the better.Together with some other regular models I must say that I am quite satisfied with the current situation even though it looks like some models are now "a little stuck".We'll see what to do next in 2022, because the situation here is unpredictable and is changing rapidly.
