Yeah, "suspended" implies they just kicked the can down the road. I'm guessing they were trying to get SFW creators on board (apparently they were reaching out directly to larger influencers asking them to join), and assumed they could coast with a smaller creator base until October 1st. When they saw the almost instantaneous drop in subscribers, as well as basically every creator talking about moving to a new platform, they realized how screwed they were.

Looks like the damage is done though. Most creators seem to feel backstabbed (as they should), and already decided on a new platform (or several, as most people are realizing not to put all your eggs in one basket).
