Starving seagulls = fucked up world

I live near the coast. Every morning I awake to this, screaming seagulls pushed inland due to criminal EU overfishing, all legit. Possibly many of you guys have the same scenario. Poor little creatures.

Seriously its no joke. The UK, surrounded by north sea, Irish sea, & Atlantic... & these poor creatures who even in my lifetime, were happy 'as a hippo' skydiving off the coast, are driven inland, begging for food, because EU & non-EU trawlers are milking sea dry - & then discarding much of their catch under EU legislation. Its diabodical.

It is a bad situation. It would be better if the gulls could find enough food in their traditional coastal homes. Perhaps we Brits should use gunboat diplomacy like the Icelanders to "discourage" overfishing by the dastardly EU.

Now, there is a domino effect as the gulls move inland and outcompete smaller local birds on their home turf, where they are already increasingly marginalised because our corrupt idiot government in cahoots with their property developer paymasters are determined to concrete over whatever green space remains in Britain.

We long ago exterminated all our forests, wolves and bears. Now what we have left is mostly chickens, cows and sheep. Seems like a sad parallel with the British people. Sad times.
