Personally, I don't care specifically about eye pops. Those hurt the eyes a lot, so I don't really appreciate those things... but you are right, most of the cumshots are really boring. Nothing big, some are literally drops (is it Ian Scott I am thinking of), and even some of the girls don't even play a little with it.

Not really if the lids are closed. For most girls its a reflex.
Sticky goo is a problem for some girls, true, but most are much more afraid than it actually hurts - if at all. Directors should explain that and instruct the studs.

As with many things in porn, it does hurt. Girls are paid to act as best they can that it doesn't, and any negative reactions (honest reactions) of discomfort can be edited out too. It's been well-known in the porn world for decades that cum hurts in the eyes. Some people may have a different tolerance for pain, and some also may not care if something hurts, but that doesn't mean it doesn't.

But yes, I was referring to eyes open shots in particular, but lids closed doesn't always keep it all out. Remember, just because SOME girls do something, does not mean it's common, that most girls like it, or you see the an honest picture of reality.

Well as one who has had eye surgery a couple of times, I cringe everytime I see anything touching eyes. So the whole concept of eye-pops does not excite me at all. But besides this going against my taste, it is not a great practise from a health perspective, as eyes are quite sensitive to infections.
