When it comes to LP/AV -- at least what I think it should have/could have been -- "Dying IS a crime."

With few exceptions, pretty much the whole of recent LP/AV productions is the total opposite of what I consider erotic and arousing. It didn't need to be that way.

Fisting, vomit, prolapse, even an overabundance of pee, are NOT erotic to me. But even though I filter those out of my search results and ban them from purchase consideration, those genres are pretty much the ONLY thing this site seems to want to produce anymore.

Just because a scene is more extreme or weird than the last one a starlet did doesn't mean it's gonna be any good. Escalation does not necessarily equal good-quality erotica.

Agreed. To a great extent, though, this is the customers’ fault for buying extreme scenes in consistently large numbers. You may argue that LP doesn’t have to listen to those customers, and you’d be right. Sineplex never got this crazy with the escalation even in the Wild West days of Evilutionplex. However, money talks, and the market has only become more saturated (and more driven by traffic directed mostly through SEO algorithms) since the halcyon days of gonzo porn’s past.

Agree with you for the most part Mizar, although I’m not at the point yet where I leave AV behind. I can feel that time approaching as well though. Prolapse (no matter if it’s 5 seconds or 5 minutes), piss and puke are automatic skips and these days more and more scenes have that content. Same goes for the models, a lot more MILF type models which I just don’t care about. This mostly concerns Gonzo/Gio, so I am gravitating more towards the Russian studios like VK for now who at least offer some ‘traditional’ anal/dp action.

Lately I am missing those basics of just fucking on AV (post-LP) as well.

It is great that porn develops and it will always be extreme before it turns in another direction. Don't worry, there will be new fetishes we can rave about and then criticise.
