ah yea, here we are again.
If you got loyal customers since a long time, as I am, the customers are loyal to the original name of the brand.
If you want change the brand name in some way, which is a in this specific case "weaker" name, because AnalVids for a porn site it's like to call a Pub, "The Pub" for example, then you got to build up at least a little campaign to move the awareness of the customers to the new brand, and try to let them know why you are changing and the new position of the product. Because you are losing your "top of mind" position.
I easily figure out if the double Z website would change the name, they would bomb me with DEM and new contents over high attention landing pages.
Should I know this new name because there was a thread over the forum? Should I get "involved" from a row of text? I'm Sorry but this is not how a brand change should be managed.
Over Discord's and Telegram group, hundreds of users still call the website and the vids Legalporno.
Are the loyal fan base completely wrong because they didn't get the evanescence communication of the website about the name change then?
