I can't be the only person who has noticed that the audio goes out of sync for a few seconds on every scene - sometimes it happens on multiple occasions, but it generally lasts for about 10-20 seconds where the audio will loop back to an earlier moment before suddenly matching back up with the video, and all is well again. For years I had presumed that this was just the result of sloppy editing, and that when the scenes were being cut together the audio and visual elements would get momentarily out of sync by mistake.
However, after watching GL384 Monika Wild/Monika Fox scene today, something about these moments gave me another idea: is this where they are using earlier looped audio to cover up dialogue from the director actually directing and talking during the scene, and telling the models what to do? Or removing any potentially unwanted dialogue from the models which 'spoils the illusion'. Anyone know if this is correct, and if so - would it bother you if these moments were left in?
