Thanks. Y'know earlier I checked out your name believe it or not? Such a cool name I had to.
Who's to know if this was not 6 feet tall 13 year old kid pestering her. 20 years jail? I remember being 13 & wanting to f*ck grown women yet she was treated like she was child molester. Very wrong verdict. She was foolish, but I'd have f*cked her whether I was 13 or 37. You're right in my opinion.
Thank you. Having read your posts, I actually felt that you'd be thoughtful enough to google Brittany and even support her too. Yes, the so-called victim was indeed pushing 6' and, before eventually succumbing to his jerkboy charms, Brittany implored the principal to transfer him to another class because of the very pestering you mentioned. That's all on the record. Off the record . . . well, let's just say I dive balls deep into the deep-cut details of whatever interests me. Through a support page / profile I created on Instagram, I've heard from many students who attended that school then, some were even in that now infamous class. Almost all who contacted me more or less fell prey to the sensationalism, the media narrative of her being a monster. However, several who wrote to me were also relieved that "Victim A" dipped out of school, since they say that not only was he a bully; he was THE biggest bully in the school (one very young girl said he even teased her and her friend immediately after their singing performance in the school talent show). Anyways man, hah, I suppose that's enough deep-cut details, my point is that this "victim" was hardly the sheltered, sensitive type. If he was traumatized, it was by the hysterical reaction of his money-hungry (they're still trying to sue the school district for $2.5 million), desert redneck parents (I know details about them too). "Just one more thing" re John Doe, the willing victim: I dug up his old Instas; in the latest, which is still as old as 3 years ago since I no longer think he's (active) on the site, you can tell that puberty hit him like a freight train. So, it's a screwed up situation and I feel awful for her ex-husband, but a 20-year sentence is absurd, insane.
On a more general note, probably more appropriate on a public forum, in the U.S., it seems like less and less people believe in second chances. These are the impressions of a girl I know who moved here from Italy; seems pretty relevant here: "There is this lynch mob mentality that if somebody makes one mistake, their entire life and career should be destroyed and they should face social ostracism. [...] With the current partisan environment, the lynch mob mentality is even more pronounced. Freedom of speech only applies when used to bully others. The rest of us have to stay silent out of fear of being attacked. Having an unconventional view here is not tolerated."
