I also like Opole a lot, it gets a bit hilly, but no mountains, in direction of Czech border. Easily to reach from Wroclaw I think and also Prague via a new rail connection leaving Katowice aside. Haven't been there for very long, though.
Btw, there are first Polish pornstars from this area, but they are really really hard to spot in the streets for sure. Very hard even!
