Editing posts

Such a shame we can't edit - no ones at their best all the time, I understand it compromises any responses to thread as being unclear, but there should be a more forgiving format surely, particularly if no-ones responded to post. What I'm suggesting is to extend the editing rights one has to first post in ones own thread to all subsequent posts if no-ones replied & quoted. Whats harm in this?

Well it's weird though I sometimes have the opportunity to edit within the first 5 minutes but most of the times I'm don't.
Why's that?
Just as with being able to send private messages to others this feature would be a nice one.

I think so too. But I think they'll see that some day. But I think editing is so important - sometimes I'm drunk & I cringe at what I said next day. But I still love the forum, the guys are cool. I think anyway.
