Nobody is comparing both models in terms of looks or style of performance, so you're just doing strawman arguments there. My comment rests primarily and almost exclusively on the premise that most cats here will just buy anything she does and launch it to #1, while you have performers giving it their all in more dynamic and original settings, it's like when you make the juxtaposition with regular movies and everyone is flocking to watch the 7th movie of the Fast and Furious franchise while a masterpiece like Children Of Men flops at the box office. Appeal is there because Vero Leal so rarely DAP-ed so far.
