Well, I agree with you that DAP can be very boring, especially in scenes focalized on it with a little skilled model who struggles and struggles for the whole footage. If I were the director I certainly would switch to single Anal or DP. On the other side DAP could also be hot and exciting when you have the right woman: take a look at this scene with Nataly Gold, IV173. Or watch the scenes with Mina and Kristy Black. Well, the OP did mention that he/she saw a fear in Emily's face so you're not addressing the full range of his/her comment there.

I checked and I have that scene. Whilst I don't recall the slapping in question (I had a little skip through the scene on my Pornbox but couldn't see it via that quick review) it is likely that there will have been some because there is in pretty much every LP scene. And I will agree with the OP in the sense that Emily isn't really one of those wild/rough type performers who encourages physical stuff (unlike, say, Lydia Black or Vicky Sol). Her style is much more laid back with of course her best attribute being her looks and sexual appetite. So I can well believe that of the established LP performers she would maybe respond in a shy or even negative kind of way to face-slapping. Where I definitely agree with the OP is that I remember similarly buying this scene and being disappointed with it. More the sluggish pace than anything - whether that was down to the DAP I can't recall.
