There's going to be a lot less professional production in Europe and America from now on. The big companies realized during quarantine they don't need to update as often. And a lot of the small ones are going out of business. This is the new normal now, less professional content and the models working for themselves doing [spam], Cams, Many Vids etc
During initial quarantine the customers were probably supportive, understanding that production could not continue through the national shutdowns.
This support won't continue if companies try to "short-change" their customers by not updating.
Traditional porn sites are already struggling to retain paying customers under intense competition from piracy, tube sites, and now camshows and content stores like [spam].
Porn companies can't afford the luxury of reducing quality/quantity of product and expect to retain customers through inertia. That business model only works for banks and insurance companies.
In the coming hard times, customers will try to cut back on regular bank payments. I think any porn company which thinks it can prosper by taking their customers for a ride is going out of business fast.
Likewise, putting a few dark, fuzzy amateur iphone videos onto [spam] isn't going to generate many subscription renewals.
Of course, people will always want porn and many will pay if they believe they are getting value for their money from performers/producers.
Porn is just a business like any other. Economic hard times will kill off the slow-moving dinosaurs and new innovative competitors will come along and find ways to eat all the food.
