This is an unusual idea for LP, but they could start with a little comedy skit where the girls pretend to be mad at each other because they are fighting about who has the bigger gape. They begin the scene testing each other's assholes with steadily bigger and bigger toys, measuring the gapes, all the time still "fighting" about who is bigger. Then when the action starts with the boys, they can do different anal positions, but there MUST be a section where they are side-by-side in the classic Kuckmal pose, counting down their gapes "1... 2... 3... KUCKMAAAALL!!!" with enthusiasm. It could be funny too if they "fight" during this part... "That's not a gape, you bitch! You want to see a real gape? Come over here." That interaction with each other (and the cameraman) is something that I think JYL always included somehow as a vital part of the classic "Kuckmal experience"...

Porn is supposed to be fun, and sometimes that even means it should be playful and funny. Of course, we will all know that they are just playing, but that's why it's so cute!

Sure, but you've gotta build up to that. My biggest problem about LP's directing in general is just that nothing builds. There's no sense of progression. I like it when a scene rises in intensity as it goes on, and for me, the intensity comes from performer chemistry rather than the acts being performed. For example, DAP is notoriously difficult to shoot because the positions are restrictive for performers and it's hard to get a rhythm and an intensity. There's only so much you can do when another dude is hovering six inches away from you and occupying the same hole. I am not anti-DAP, but for sure I think that LP has slowly become "the DAP zone" when it didn't start out that way at all. Go back and watch old Prague scenes from 2012-2015. DAP was not super common, and when it was done, it didn't occupy the entire running time of the scenes.

Of course, by the end of the scene, the girls have to kiss and make up. They can agree that the guys (meaning you, the viewers) are enjoying their gapes and it doesn't matter whose is bigger as long as everyone is having fun. Then the boys can cum in their mouths and they can kiss-swap their reward as part of their "apology" to each other. Always must end on a happy note!

Just remember, the "Kuckmal" is more than a gape, and more than a specific way of filming a gape. It's an experience. JYL always valued that feeling of levity, interaction, and performance. He was always aware that the viewer wants to feel like they are a part of the action (which is why the entire style of gonzo porn originated in the first place, by the way), and he acknowledged the "fourth wall" of the camera lens.

In summary... I think these points, taken together as a whole, best describe the JYL Kuckmal style.

- Dynamic camera, with a good mix of close-ups and long shots
- Interaction between performers
- Breaking the fourth wall
- Levity & tacit acknowledgement of the ridiculousness of porn
- Gapes galore, always filmed in a specific way
- The famous reverse cowgirl "kuckmal" shot is a must in every scene, complete with the countdown
- But NEVER at the expense of the intensity of the action itself! That's what we're here to see!

Ugh, I wish I could have done my big Eurotrip, this is one of the scene concepts I was going to try out while I was there. I had like five or six solid scene "concepts" to test, one of which was this Kuckmal Wars idea. (I was going to do some really unique stuff with foot fetish too, of course, and I even had an idea for a college party orgy involving "beer" in the ass.)

This is becoming like an outlet for me to express all those ideas now. But I'm hijacking the thread, and I don't want to give away everything... I want to get some feedback for sure, though. Is this something you'd actually watch and be interested to see here?

Mostly LP scenes are totally overfocused on DAP, just going through different DAP positions.

Well, I'll say two things which are relevant to this topic, and I'm about to get very long-winded here, so just be warned...

I don't know how much you know about my history in porn, but I used to work with Sineplex in a planning and production capacity, until things went south over there, and then I took some time off and came back for a handful of self-funded shoots on my own, which I (generously) refer to as "prototype shoots" because they were intended mostly as a way for me to gain experience running a production by myself... now, don't get me wrong, they're definitely good scenes (surprisingly so, considering my inexperience), but I wasn't trying to realize any wild concepts like the one I've been laying out here. I was really just focused on getting the basics right and learning as much as I could, and boy, let me tell ya... producion ain't as easy as it looks.

I got the Sineplex gig on the basis of my ideas about porn and enthusiasm in talking about them here, which makes me the first person to ever break into the porn industry entirely through shit-posting, as far as I know. One of the very first things I learned is that, while it's true that anyone can shoot porn (it's really not that hard), it is waaaaay harder than it might look to shoot porn well. The barrier to entry is very low, but the learning curve is insane, and no matter how much you try to study other people's work for inspiration, there is no substitute for actual production experience. The actual shooting itself is the easiest part, at least for me, but there is a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff you have to learn too, including everything from lighting to location scouting to production logistics. You have to gain a cursory understanding of hair and make-up in order to choose a "look" that works for your scene (and to know what to tell your HMU artist to get that look), how different looks can affect a scene, how different looks work with different facial types and outfits, etc... And that's just one example. If you care about getting the details right and and nailing the quality of your product, the learning curve is really quite massive.

That's why I did "prototype shoots", which you will see here one day soon (although xxx can attest to my ability to procrastinate against my own self-interest, because as much as I love production, I truly hate post-production).

So the reason I think this is important in relation to the subject we're discussing is that I know, better than anyone here, how easy it is to state an idea, yet how much work goes into actually doing it and getting those details right. This idea in particular is such a specific, granular concept that I think it would fall flat and feel ridiculous if you couldn't get those details right.

This is something I used to talk about a lot with "SOS" and a couple other friends in the industry, but I think the best directors pour elements of their own sexuality into their work, and you can't just "force" another person's style because that always feels inauthentic. So any effort to "recreate" JYL's style is going to feel different, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, as long as the director in charge of the effort has some kind of clear vision in his head. He has to really understand and appreciate the feeling he is trying to recreate, not just the technique, and it might be the case that he finds a way to create that feeling with new techniques and new ideas... And that's great! That's how porn evolves! You want that to happen, but you just have to be aware that it's never going to be exactly the way it used to be.

For this same reason, I don't think directors should try this concept unless they really take the time to do their research and understand it. A half-assed attempt at creating this concept (or anyone's concept) will almost certainly fail. I probably over-think these things, at least "SOS" always used to tell me that, but there's a balance somewhere in the middle. Directors need to be able to feel the impact of what they're making, and if this particular idea doesn't inspire them in that way, then it is best left to someone else to make the attempt. I think that's something all great directors (like "SOS") understand even if most of them are not consciously aware of it.

I think this is something specific enough that I can't relay what I am seeing in my mind's eye through words alone.

The really hard part is going to be trying to explain the vibe of the concept to the performers, especially the ones who speak a different language, because they have to realize it and give you what you want from them. That's 100% on you as a director to give them enough context that they get it. "I want you to be mean to her, but in a winking, playful way. On the surface, you're fighting about who has the bigger gape, but what you're really doing is amping up the viewer and building anticipation for the next gape shot." Try explaining that to someone who doesn't know anything about what you're seeing in your mind's eye.

What I really would like to see from the directors here (and from porn directors in general) is more creativity along the lines of this idea. Start coming up with new concepts that have a more focused vision. That's what sets porn shot by a director apart from the "[spam]" self-produced boom we're seeing now, and that's only going to become more popular with time, so we need to be doing more to distinguish studio porn and maintain our audience. Things are getting a little too cookie-cutter in the industry these days, but the talent is all there and we have more promising cast and crew people working today than ever before, IMO, so they just need the freedom to throw away the cookie cutter and try new things.

Of course I'm not asking you to reveal his name, just to give some informations: how long he worked for SINEPLEX, why he quit, whether he worked for other companies, if he's still active and so on.

He worked for Sineplex for as long as Sineplex existed. I don't know what he did before Sineplex, because we never talked about it, but I think that was his first job in porn. He is definitely no longer active, and I have no idea what he's doing now, but he quit because he had no other choice.
