Porn is supposed to be fun, and sometimes that even means it should be playful and funny. Of course, we will all know that they are just playing, but that's why it's so cute!

I guess what I was trying to say is that the "Kuckmal Wars" idea might be something I should try first, because the last time I tried to work with someone else to realize it, the idea... didn't quite come through in the end product. I think this is something specific enough that I can't relay what I am seeing in my mind's eye through words alone.
The really hard part is going to be trying to explain the vibe of the concept to the performers, especially the ones who speak a different language, because they have to realize it and give you what you want from them. That's 100% on you as a director to give them enough context that they get it. "I want you to be mean to her, but in a winking, playful way. On the surface, you're fighting about who has the bigger gape, but what you're really doing is amping up the viewer and building anticipation for the next gape shot." Try explaining that to someone who doesn't know anything about what you're seeing in your mind's eye.
What I really would like to see from the directors here (and from porn directors in general) is more creativity along the lines of this idea. Start coming up with new concepts that have a more focused vision. That's what sets porn shot by a director apart from the "[spam]" self-produced boom we're seeing now, and that's only going to become more popular with time, so we need to be doing more to distinguish studio porn and maintain our audience. Things are getting a little too cookie-cutter in the industry these days, but the talent is all there and we have more promising cast and crew people working today than ever before, IMO, so they just need the freedom to throw away the cookie cutter and try new things.
