I think the reason why AnalVids is so generic and uninspiring is because the website's name also needs to be it's link such as, https://www.analvids.com

Such links for porn have been mostly bought up and reserved by people hoping to re-sell them to others at higher prices. So, only a few uninspiring words and phrases are still available for use at reasonable prices.

I think LegalPorno stands for extreme anal, and not just anal. Because many LegalPorno scenes are all anal from start to finish. And some scenes show DAP. That's why AnalVids doesn't do justice for this content. AnalVids suggests ordinary anal that you might see at many other websites.

LegalPorno doesn't suggest anal at all in its words. But it's a well-established brand name that many porn-fans know. So, now LegalPorno stands for extreme anal in the minds of many fans. And this name recognition the website will lose, if its name is changed.

You could have made a competition out of it, in which every user can suggest names. That would have been customer service and customer reletationship management. And if it had become one of those suggested names, it would have been rewarded e.g. with a free membership for three years (at least!).

And if it would have been another - not suggested - name in the end, so what? Everything better than just presenting a fait accompli with such a bad and uninspired name as AnalVids.

But FWIW I agree with Wotan that Legalporno is a unique and world-famous porn brand which everyone knows for better or worse. I don't know of any other major porn sites with remotely similar names.

AnalVids is just generic, and similar to many other site names. Maybe that's the intention, but IDK why.

When we started Legalporno originally it was meant to be a general clip store, not just anal scenes. But it turned out to be an anal website so I feel a change of name was required. As for the general clip store, that's what PornBox is, and this name is much better for that.

Is there a plan for someone to produce videos under the 'PornBox' name rather than the 'AnalVids' name, so we'd be getting new scenes that aren't anal in theme?

It seems that AnalVids.com is being used simply as a link page to direct people to LegalPorno and BangBros. Well, that's a significant bit of news. To kiss off years of brand equity, well, there has to be more about the reasons for that decision than has been divulged.

It's useless to speculate on why. Although in the last year in particular, I've gotten the sense of shotgun-approach to lure or appease to different fetishes. So it's not a shock to me. Anyway, the name change will likely have negligible effect on longtime or faithful followers.

I just hope the generic nature of the name doesn't carryover to the content. Like "Made in China" or something.
