According to me, the answer to that is very simple : Luis is a VERY VERY bad producer.
A few months ago, he still had some good male actors to shoot with, hiding his lack of skills in terms of production.
Nowadays, he doesn't have anymore...And his weakness appears in every single scene he makes...

I been wanting to come back recently,
since the LP new filter system makes it doable for me.
(Before I just thought LP became disgusting, sorry!)
But,
Gonzo movies seem to lack in the fun factor area.
Which for me, it used to be it's main appeal.
It's the apparent lack of "manhandle".
To me, manhandle encompases all the things the man can do
to get his woman's heart racing, to excite her, to make her feel good and beautiful.
And IMO, Gonzo movies are very lacking in that area.
I think this happens because of a combination of several things.
But mainly, because movies seem to be to focused on the aesthetic part.
It seems like male actors are afraid to get in the way of the camera.
So, during airtight parts, be it DP or DAP, in cowgirl, doggy or whatever,
all manhandle elements come to a complete halt.
As a man, if you don't want to constantly be touching, kissing, fucking,
and otherwise manipulating the woman in question,
and instead it seems like guys are trying to minimize all contact,
which means to me that they are not really all that attracted to her,
and in a way, it makes me think that the woman in the scene is LESS hot.

Very good post and sharp, deep analysis. Also nice gifs.
I agree about all, but the fact it's a GONZO's issue: in my opinion GIORGIO's and IV's productions suffer the same problem. It's all about to build up a scene according to some schemes, where fantasy plays no or a minimal role, where is no place for feeling, passion and spontaneity, where thus intensity and authenticity go inevitably lost.
I also share your concept of "manhandle", it's not about some slaps, but mood and involvement.
It's so nice when the actors are passionately into it: I like so much when a man slaps hard a woman and this smiles to him and shows that she likes it or even begs for it. I also love when a guy spits a girl in the mouth and then kisses her, and she spits him back and/or slaps him. I really have nothing against reverse and mutual manhandle, it's also exciting and part of the game.
As a good example of manhandle I always take that scene with Misha Cross, HARDCORE CLIMAX SZ317, where she, having been slapped hard by the guys (Mike Angelo, Yanick Shaft and Tony Brooklyn), at one point reacts and slaps Tony back and he enjoys it too.
Of course not every actor, male and female, is into it, therefore it's important to choose the right ones. Rocco Siffredi, Mike Angelo, Mike Chapman are maybe the best rough performers, because so passionate and involved, but Mr Anderson, Robin Reid, Yanick Shaft, Chis Diamond, Potro and the "Russian" boys are also good, although with a different, colder style.

Gaping - More focus on some big gapes - proper power gapes. I don't need lots of gapes but when the gapes do happen I want to see big (camera straight on, not from the side) power gapes.
Fashion - Gonza has the worst fashion. They dress the models in Shorts! half the time. They dress the models like pseudo teen girls from a max hardcore nightmare. IV & GIO have much better understading of how to dress a model.
Otherwise I think Gonzo do a pretty decent job!

Would be very good to have you back here with your video analysis and explaining 'gifs, magizi!
Now, I dont think Luis is a very bad director, but he's lately just bored and seems more and more absent minded, maybe planning already his next SAM holidays or family stay instead of focusing on the porn scene he's shooting. Having no strong competition on gonzo anymore sure adds to a certain laziness. Add the fact that its doubtful how many of these bookings he does himself. Looks a bit like he is only the tech and camera guy, and probably a fairly cheap one, apart from his expensive flight tickets.
So why fly in a cameraman every second month from the other side of the World? - Because he has the best studs crew maybe. But now as that crew is obviously gone and Luis shoots halfway with usual local studs, his star might be sinking rapidly.
This said I have doubts about gonzo studio as such. No updates, obviously bad planning, OTS scenes instead, looks a bit like dying.
Now while I am a clear GIO fan because there I usually get the daily minimum dose porn fix I need, LP without gonzo would be definitely not LP anymore for me. LP for me was always GIO and gonzo, formerly also with SOS and IV.

+ 1
Anybody knows who was directing these scenes?
Doenst look like Luis.
That new 'Omar' support dir maybe, but also not sure.
grey00owl wrote:Also curious to know. Ideally I would employ two directors as once Luis and Stefano: it would be advantageous to have some competition, resulting in better quality.

So true!
Actually I feel a bit time of Luis could be over. Not that he was bad at all, but lately no emotions anymore and always same formula. In BTS he seems really totally detached. I'd have to search again hard, but didnt xxx recently write gonzo hadnt created profits anymore last few months or at least was selling badly or less that he wants.
dap-addict wrote:Btw, any changes you notice after switch from Luis to Omar?

I get the sense there is more fun on set, more laughing. Also the robotic quality which crept into Gonzo releases before the pandemic hit, seems to be much less. It feels more natural. Curious if that also means performers have more input in the goings on of the scene.

I agree. Less going through the motions. More improvisation. More fun. I like that.

But in my opinion, slutty outfits sell better.
I love seeing women all naked, but I prefer scenes
were the woman is still wearing something while she is getting fucked
and slutty outfits are better than classy ones for this purpose.
Also, slutty outfits are designed to
make girly parts stand out, claiming all of your attention.
For example, the vertical lines coming down from her waist,
the narrowest part of her torso, to her legs, is a visual aid to
make her hip appear wider.
From this angle, it makes her glutes pop out. It has that enhancing effect.
Plus slutty outfits announce the clear sexual intent and are clickbaity.
You open the pornbox to see what's new and slutty outfits draw your attention
more so than classy outfits do, it's just how it is.
I think slutty outfits are a safer bet for producers when introducing girls without a fandom.
But that might just be me wanting to see super sexy outfits more often.
I think something they could try adding would be "special effects"
For example, with a fan, adding a wind current under a skirt.
For sporty outfits, add sporty things for the girl to do:
Like they did in this scene:
I do like "classy" outfits.
I'm getting into random thoughts territory by now,
while I was watching this scene:
It seems really hot if she uses the dildoes while
the guys are caressing her body at the same time.
ALSO, it evolved into this, which is awesome IMO.
That needs to be the new norm IMO, lol. (I'm serious tho)
Sex toys could be part of the fashion IMO and enhance the vibe and mood of scenes.
A belt holding down multiple dildoes for later use.
Spreader bar, leather wrist wraps, Blindfold and mouth ring gag.
Something kinkier.
Blindfold, Mouth ball gag, collar leash, body harness, hands tied, ballet leather boots.

The three guys are very engaged and inspired fucking her hard and manhandilg her. Glad to see Tomas and his thick cock again. Nice cumshots. This is the way.

I'm very impressed with Mina. VERY impressed.
Like, I see what she can do and I have a hard time believing it's for real, lol.
