Scene 2 (AJ Applegate): 2 ATPs, 2 ATMs

Scene 4 (Aleksa Nicole): 4-5 ATPs, 2 ATMs
A few notes: First, these numbers are approximations. I did not actually keep a running count. But I pay close attention to this stuff, and I guarantee these numbers are very close to accurate. Second, the male performer in Scene 1 was Everhard the Retard, so I was quite surprised that the scene included the ATM tag. I was not at all surprised when the actual scene turned out to have no real ATM, just a couple of cases of the ATP/PTM trick I mentioned earlier. Finally, the last scene included a couple of other ATMs that I didn't count, because they involved cheating (wiping it off, the cock disappearing off camera, etc.).
Also, this is hardly an isolated case. Of course, it varies quite a bit, but the vast majority of American anal scenes these days involve ATP, whereas only about half of them involve ATM (and almost none of them involve frequent ATMs).
One act does not have to cancel out another. I have faith that our fellows at LP can deliver without undermining our cherished ATM action
In theory, you're right. But in practice, you're almost always wrong. I watch tons of different types of anal porn: old, new, European, American, you name it, and there is an almost perfect negative correlation between the amount of ATP and the amount of ATM (and the ratio of ATP to ATM has never been as high as it is now). Sure, Sineplex used to shoot scenes like this (http://legalporno.com/watch/6348/sl_scene_90841), where there was lots of ATP and still plenty of ATM, but they haven't really shot that type of scene since Jay Sin left.
Nowadays, when people do ATP, you're more likely to get stupid crap like this (http://legalporno.com/watch/28066/2_on_ ... luts_sz437). Watch the trailer, and check out what Marcus does at the 0:28 mark. Or look at Giorgio's stuff, including the GG Exclusive stuff here on LP. Most of it has lots of ATP, but little to no ATM.
For some reason, people seem to think ATP is some kind of substitute for ATM. As long as that attitude prevails, I will argue vigorously against any proposed increase in the amount of ATP!
