Dude, I meant "tough" as in "difficult", not as in "unpleasant", although I'm sure there are certain aspects of it that are unpleasant (like working with certain bitchy girls, working with certain asshole directors, having to get blood tests every week or two, etc.). It's like sports. I think being a male performer in porn is difficult - the sex may not always be fun either. Perhaps a lot of guys who watch straight porn look at the guys as window dressing or a prop or a robot ordered to do what is expected, and that's true that may be their job...but we all have difficult components to our jobs whatever they may be.
I think when a guy says, "what's hard about it? they get to have sex with pretty girls." That is pretty naive. We watch a 20-30 minute scene, but the actual work involved as some of you know, is three to four times more than that, although that depends on the company and the director and how many different positions he wants to see, or if the guys take the lead and do the changing from cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, piledriver, double doggy, double missionary...and so on...The stop and go can be distracting. All dressed. And there are the 3 ladies in their fetish wear, And a very naked Jerry (in his mid 20s from when the movie was made). Now he's supposed to ignore 11 guys and equipment when they are all within a few feet of him.
