Same will probably be true if you ask 50 porn stars. Half will say they like what they do, the other half will say they don't like it.
It just like any other job basically.

I think its more natural to assume people like what they do.
Because its completly nonsensical to live a life in which you hate what you do.
But yes as you described there are people who prefer money and do things they don't like.
Wouldn't recommend it.

OK, you're either a member of the Saudi royal family or you're 12 years old. People out there in the real world don't prefer money, they need it and you gotta do what you gotta do to earn it - and sometimes that's something you enjoy doing and sometimes it's something you don't enjoy doing and sometimes it's something you have no strong feelings about either way.
Right, since you have no option to do what it is you want...? Sometimes that can be true. But as a general rule this is not so. You prepare your entire life for it.
People who do porn do porn because they are gravitated towards it for some reason. But I believe if they truly wouldnt like it they wouldnt do it for the money. Or rather it would be a smaller percentage.
Unless there are more people then I think who aren't following their passions.. which is not impossible I suppose. Which would be sad, but their choice.

As it was stated above, and please dont take it in negative way, I dont want to be rude, but I think that you are really quite naive.
These girls do it because:
- they like sex (as maybe 99pct of women on earth like sex)
- they like money (as maybe 90pct of women on earth like, I reduced percentage because there is more women that care about other things in life)
They dont do it beacause they care much about porn in general, like we do (in this forum), at least I think so. To be a good looking girl that like sex, it is quite easy to earn a lot of money this way. It is much more difficult for a man to do this job.
Of course there are superstars of porn, like Adriana Chechik or Sandra Romain who are absolutely crazy and fuck everything that moves, but if you take these tousands and tousands of girls who did up to 5 scenes maximum, lot of russian and eastern european girls, they didnt do it because they love porn. They did it because it was easy money (and of course it can be pleasure experience to be fucked by really skilled professional porn guy).

Many individuals, when they have to choose between 1) a job they like and small income and 2) a job they don't like and decent/good income, would choose 2) option.

That depends a lot on the situation.
On set, it might be a good as mediocre for a few minutes. Then the director [of photography] calls “cut”, you move to the next position, and then they call “Part X - action”. This pretty much continues until you get told “30 seconds to pop” (or similar). You might then have some stills or post-popshot video taken (usually squeezing to keep yourself erect for this). Then you hand your colleague a towel, grab your cheque and go home. Hardly the ultimate erotic fantasy, is it?

LOL
Well paid jobs are an utter shit that require a lot of time, efforts, risks and sacrifice. In other words : in spite of good income, you have basically zero possibility to enjoy such life.

And there we have the root of it. You're a toxic person. No wonder you think they don't enjoy their jobs.
ZiziMinuscule wrote:I'm not a toxing person. I'm a rational person.
Having said that, you are free to believe whatever you want. You can even belive than dustmen or supermarket cashiers are happy with their job.

So honestly, I just can't believe people can be happy.

Real shit, all jobs suck down the line. Its a means to make income, provide value to others and nothing more. Meaning comes outside of work (Hobbies, family, tastes). Does not mean you won't experience few instances of happiness at work. In today's workforce all are replaceable so it makes no sense to give your position so much loyalty. Study hard shit, make healthy money, spend minimal.
