While I often think certain scenes are so good I should re-watch them in practice I'll almost always go for the appeal of something new (to me). I have started making a note of when I've watched scenes though, so that if I know a scene I'd noted was very good I haven't watched for a few years then I'd probably have forgotten it enough to enjoy it afresh .

Obviously I'd re-watch scenes far more if there was a shortage of new material but we're luck enough now that this really isn't the case.
