It's the principle of the matter. Why should I have to get a VPN because one website wants to play games? I should be able to see it freely just like everyone can. In those countries where it is also blocked, it is because it is explicitly illegal, which is not the case in the US. Also, because LP operates outside of the US, it would be exempt from any lawsuit on obscenity as the company would not be bound by US law. LP would need to be located within the US in order for a prosecutor to bring an obscenity case against it. So that reason doesn't make sense either.

While there, I decided that being in a foreign country would be a good time to test the truth of whether or not LP allows content in other countries that is not allowed to be shown in the US. Sure enough, when I would browse through LP while I was in Europe, all the pissing scenes on the site were accessible, whereas they are all blocked in the US.
Two years ago, when XXX announced that he would be discontinuing and eliminating pissing scenes, I protested that decision on here, and decided for myself that I would no longer support LP as long as that decision was in effect. I didn't really care about the pissing scenes so much as I was offended by the disregard of what customers wanted. The pissing scenes were highly popular, and to get rid of them didn't make any sense and seemed like a slap in the face to customers. Because of that disrespect, I never renewed my membership at LP going forward.
However, that decision made by XXX is obviously no longer in effect, as the pissing scenes have returned to LP. Therefore, I would be more than willing to end my boycott and return as a member to LP. Of course, as previously stated , the problem is that even though pissing scenes have returned, I cannot see them simply because I happen to live in the United States. Prior to the ban implemented by XXX two years ago, I was able to see and download pissing scenes. But now that they have returned, they appear to be available to everyone else in the world except those of us living in the USA, which I do not understand.
Therefore, my boycott and frustration continues. As I was going through Twitter today, I saw that LP has finally released the long-awaited Lola Taylor 10-man gangbang pissing scene. I saw this because I follow LP on Twitter. But of course, when I clicked on the link to the scene, I got the message saying, "Content Not Available in Your Area." For reasons that have never been shared with us, XXX first implemented a complete ban on pissing, which has since has been lifted. And now, for more reasons that have never been shared, those scenes are available everywhere else except in the USA. I normally don't support piracy, but it appears as though LP has left American viewers no other choice if we wish to see these scenes, even if we would prefer to support.
What I want to know is, why is LP restricting pissing scenes to American viewers? And before anybody responds to say that pissing is illegal in the USA, it isn't. So basically, there's no reason for it to be restricted. While I had hoped to be able to end my boycott and go back to supporting LP, it looks like that won't happen until LP decides to stop playing these games and make all content equally available to everyone regardless of the country in which we live.

The difference in scene numbers available is piss vs. No piss. The servers with the higher number of available scenes is the ones you, obviously, want. I believe German and Belgian servers allow piss.
Good luck.

Actually, none of those things are technically obscene in the USA. Whenever this discussion comes up, people always bring up obscenity, which is not true. The way US obscenity law works is nothing is obscene until after it is ruled obscene. Yes, I know that is confusing and makes no sense, but that's the way it works. There is no list anywhere in US law with a bunch of things on it that are "obscene." Technically, kissing can be obscene if a federal judge rules it to be obscene, but it would have to be taken to court first. And even then, according to US obscenity law, the act itself cannot be considered obscene because the work in whole must be considered obscene. So even if a jury were to find pissing obscene, but not the rest of the scene or movie, then they legally could not rule it obscene according to the law. I know this is all confusing, but that's the way the law works.
But none of this matters here for two reasons:
(1) The law is outdated. The law was created prior to the existence of the Internet, and originally only dealt with material that could be mailed to different parts of the country where different regions would consider the material obscene. Case in point, something that would be considered obscene in rural Mississippi wouldn't even raise an eyebrow in West Hollywood, California. So porn companies would be more cautious about shipping their movies to more conservative parts of the country for that reason. That's how Max Hardcore and John Stagliano got caught- they were shipping their videos through US mail to different parts of the country. It's also interesting that while Max Hardcore was convicted in rural Florida, John Stagliano had his case dismissed in urban Washington D.C., two completely different parts of the country. Also, since the advent of the Internet, the law has not caught up to technology. Theoretically, stuff on the Internet can still be prosecuted for obscenity, but this hasn't been the case except for stuff dealing with underage minors. This might also be why there has not been a major obscenity case in the US in the last decade, and never a major case against an adult online porn site, especially since former Attorney General Eric Holder, under President Obama, eliminated the Obscenity Task Force during his first term in office.
(2) Again, LP is not located within the USA, so it doesn't matter what US law is. It would not affect LP because the US has no power or jurisdiction to prosecute an online company that is located outside the country. Even if a US prosecutor wanted to try to bring an obscenity case against LP, it wouldn't go anywhere because LP is not subject to US law, and he would have no authority to prosecute a foreign company anyway.rollin_dubs187 wrote:Actually I am pretty sure those are considered obscene as well. I can understand the male performers not liking it, but I think that's because of how it's done. After all, who wants to fuck a girl that's covered in piss? This is why I always preferred the scenes when they piss on the girl at the end of the scene rather than during the scene. That way, the guys aren't fucking her after they have already pissed on her, which I agree is kind of a turn-off. I tolerate it, but I always said that I would much prefer that they wait until the end of the scene to piss on her, and preferably in a bathroom or someplace where cleanup wouldn't be as much of an issue.

You talk bullshit. In Czech is almost the same as in US, so anyone who will shoot, distribute, pornographic material depicting degrading sex against humanity or otherwise human dehonesting manner and will distribute it via (not only) internet and/or for money in an organized group will face up to 5 years sentence when proven quilty.

Obviously, the people on that jury felt just like you. This is the way obscenity law works in the U.S. All it takes is for enough people on a jury to be offended by something- anything- and it's obscene. And the law does not require any explanation for what specifically makes it obscene. So since the court did not specify whether the movies were deemed obscene because they had piss,or fisting, or age play, or just plain sex, we don't know what made them obscene. If you had played the most bland vanilla porn scene in the world in front of that same jury, then they probably would still have found it obscene.
As for the way Max treated the models, considering that he had several of the girls from his movies appear at his trial to testify in his defense that they consented to everything in his movies, it shows that people are going to believe what they want to believe.drevokocur66 wrote:Piss is no less degrading than having 3 dicks in your ass at the same time. Yeah, but nobody cares about men being degraded. We still have this attitude in society that women are helpless and delicate creatures that need to be protected, which is not true for men. When it comes to the degradation of men in porn, no one gives a fuck. This is why there can be tons of femdom porn with guys getting kicked in the balls, beaten up by women, verbally humiliated by women, etc., and no one says a word about it. But every single porn studio in the world is now afraid to shoot scenes of women being degraded because they know people will throw a hissy fit. When I go to sites like Clips4Sale and ManyVids, I am constantly coming across scenes of women humiliating men about how small their dicks are, etc. But I have yet to see a scene where a man humiliates a woman by telling her how small her tits are. Can you imagine the amount of flack the director would get for a scene like that in today's politically-correct culture?
Max Hardcore is a perfect example. The man spent four years in jail just for making porn that offended people. Do you think anyone would have cared if the models in his films were men? Of course not! Gay porn has some of the same types of videos, but no one worries about it. But if it's a female being treated that way by a man, then all fucking hysteria breaks lose. Case in point, when it comes to the topic of pissing, why does LP still allow scenes of women pissing to be shown everywhere in the world, but scenes of men pissing have to be hidden and banned? It only becomes controversial when it's guys doing it to girls, not the other way around. So again, no one cares about men being degraded. But shoot a scene with a woman being degraded, and all the white knights and feminists come out the woodwork to cry, holler, and make trouble.

I agree. Even though I'm an American, I also voted No in that poll. Not that porn in general is all that great these days, but American porn sucks especially now. I think that LP, or any other foreign-based porn company, would have to be crazy to want to set up a studio in the US, unless they just want to make crappier porn scenes.
Also, as has been mentioned in this thread by myself and others, LP is exempt from US law because it is located outside of the US. That will not be the case if LP establishes a studio and shoots within the US. Having a studio within the US would then make LP subject to US law, and everything about the US law not being able to possibly cause trouble for LP would then be out the window.

kidloco2 wrote:Oh well, it's not about truth. The matter is not black or white, the law is not black or white. We are talking here in the context of LP and especially Giorgio's pissing scenes and the question was whether there is something in Czech law that has to do with it. Of course there is unlike you believe. Back in the past when Giorgio was making one piss scene after another they started to be quite extreme, he pushed the limits to the very edge of law with all that heavy piss drinking, hair pulling, spitting and such.
Your example with cuckold is misleading. I say once again and for the last time here, these laws don't rule out any particular sex act (except zoophilia, pedophilia and incest, not counting rape&violence of course), they are there to prevent making, sharing, distributing or whatever of material that depicts sex acts in the (not only) degrading way to the human or its rights. They are there to protect our society from spreading pathological acts that might be dangerous for our society, families, children and such.
Just the sole fact of shooting anal sex with three dicks in a woman's asshole where there is no apparent force against her will, violence or such, won't probably cause you any troubles as well shooting pissing won't send you to the jail, but do it in the wrong context, wrong way, you will never know, especially in the unfriendly environment of adult production competition. The decision of xxx to stop it is just playing on the safe side, the more when you distribute it worldwide for profit. Ban of piss in US was the second reason.
