Let me start off this post by saying that I am a natural-born citizen and resident of the United States of America. A few weeks ago, I took a trip to Europe. During my two-week stay there, I would occasionally use my free time (usually right before going to sleep at night) to browse through my favorite porn sites on my phone. While there, I decided that being in a foreign country would be a good time to test the truth of whether or not LP allows content in other countries that is not allowed to be shown in the US. Sure enough, when I would browse through LP while I was in Europe, all the pissing scenes on the site were accessible, whereas they are all blocked in the US.

Two years ago, when XXX announced that he would be discontinuing and eliminating pissing scenes, I protested that decision on here, and decided for myself that I would no longer support LP as long as that decision was in effect. I didn't really care about the pissing scenes so much as I was offended by the disregard of what customers wanted. The pissing scenes were highly popular, and to get rid of them didn't make any sense and seemed like a slap in the face to customers. Because of that disrespect, I never renewed my membership at LP going forward.

However, that decision made by XXX is obviously no longer in effect, as the pissing scenes have returned to LP. Therefore, I would be more than willing to end my boycott and return as a member to LP. Of course, as previously stated , the problem is that even though pissing scenes have returned, I cannot see them simply because I happen to live in the United States. Prior to the ban implemented by XXX two years ago, I was able to see and download pissing scenes. But now that they have returned, they appear to be available to everyone else in the world except those of us living in the USA, which I do not understand.

Therefore, my boycott and frustration continues. As I was going through Twitter today, I saw that LP has finally released the long-awaited Lola Taylor 10-man gangbang pissing scene. I saw this because I follow LP on Twitter. But of course, when I clicked on the link to the scene, I got the message saying, "Content Not Available in Your Area." For reasons that have never been shared with us, XXX first implemented a complete ban on pissing, which has since has been lifted. And now, for more reasons that have never been shared, those scenes are available everywhere else except in the USA. I normally don't support piracy, but it appears as though LP has left American viewers no other choice if we wish to see these scenes, even if we would prefer to support.

What I want to know is, why is LP restricting pissing scenes to American viewers? And before anybody responds to say that pissing is illegal in the USA, it isn't. So basically, there's no reason for it to be restricted. While I had hoped to be able to end my boycott and go back to supporting LP, it looks like that won't happen until LP decides to stop playing these games and make all content equally available to everyone regardless of the country in which we live.

Thank you for sharing your life story. Many of us have been very concerned of your opinions on LP. I really appreciate keeping us updated.

That said. Piss scenes being available in Europe and not America is old news. It has been this way since before the ban. Previously released scenes were never removed, just hidden from view for for American viewers. The reason LP doesn't distribute piss scenes in the USA is due to many states deaming the material as obscene. Obscene material is illegal to distribute in these states.

To be honest I am not sure why LP cares considering they are not based in the USA and thus not subject to our obscenity laws. Perhaps in fear his site would be blocked in the US by our government if these scenes were distributed, despite the fact the US doesnt block web content, as doing so would be unconstitutional. However I don't expect Europeans to understand our constitution so I digress.

Not to worry. Use a VPN. LP blocks content based on IP address. Any claims regarding restrictions do to credit card location is not true. Log in on VPN, add the scene to your pornbox and boom, complete access even without VPN.

Actually I am pretty sure those are considered obscene as well. I know anal fisting is. And you don't see those being banned at all. Which is why I think thr real reason piss scenes where banned is due to the fact LP didnt want to shoot them anymore. The male performers didnt like it. Its rather uncomfortabke to have to piss while fucking. Ruins the whole experience. But since the backlash the makes a few to keep the people at bay

I've notice for example that connecting to Holland and Denmark show (small) differences in the available videos so what is the best place to choose?

Maybe LP just doesnt want the hassle. Alot of states have republican majorites and of course the congress does for a while now so everyone is a bit nervous about some DOJ prosecutor getting on a crusade.... I can understand why LP doesnt need the hassle. Yes, they are not in the US but they can still be charged and all that stuff.

The difference in scene numbers available is piss vs. No piss. The servers with the higher number of available scenes is the ones you, obviously, want. I believe German and Belgian servers allow piss.

I remember back in the day, people from say Czech Republic, would complain that a scene with a model from over there was just released but it doesn't appear for those users, regardless of pissing or not. Because it was agreed behind the scenes, that her scenes would not be available in Czech Republic.

Just a few models who were a bit shy at that time.

Officialy pissing is still forbidden on LP as a whole! These "new" two or three scenes means nothing because xxx didn't change decission! You behave a little bit like child. Different countries means different law.

Actually, none of those things are technically obscene in the USA. Whenever this discussion comes up, people always bring up obscenity, which is not true. The way US obscenity law works is nothing is obscene until after it is ruled obscene. Yes, I know that is confusing and makes no sense, but that's the way it works. There is no list anywhere in US law with a bunch of things on it that are "obscene." Technically, kissing can be obscene if a federal judge rules it to be obscene, but it would have to be taken to court first. And even then, according to US obscenity law, the act itself cannot be considered obscene because the work in whole must be considered obscene. So even if a jury were to find pissing obscene, but not the rest of the scene or movie, then they legally could not rule it obscene according to the law. I know this is all confusing, but that's the way the law works.

But none of this matters here for two reasons:

(1) The law is outdated. The law was created prior to the existence of the Internet, and originally only dealt with material that could be mailed to different parts of the country where different regions would consider the material obscene. Case in point, something that would be considered obscene in rural Mississippi wouldn't even raise an eyebrow in West Hollywood, California. So porn companies would be more cautious about shipping their movies to more conservative parts of the country for that reason. That's how Max Hardcore and John Stagliano got caught- they were shipping their videos through US mail to different parts of the country. It's also interesting that while Max Hardcore was convicted in rural Florida, John Stagliano had his case dismissed in urban Washington D.C., two completely different parts of the country. Also, since the advent of the Internet, the law has not caught up to technology. Theoretically, stuff on the Internet can still be prosecuted for obscenity, but this hasn't been the case except for stuff dealing with underage minors. This might also be why there has not been a major obscenity case in the US in the last decade, and never a major case against an adult online porn site, especially since former Attorney General Eric Holder, under President Obama, eliminated the Obscenity Task Force during his first term in office.

(2) Again, LP is not located within the USA, so it doesn't matter what US law is. It would not affect LP because the US has no power or jurisdiction to prosecute an online company that is located outside the country. Even if a US prosecutor wanted to try to bring an obscenity case against LP, it wouldn't go anywhere because LP is not subject to US law, and he would have no authority to prosecute a foreign company anyway.

I can understand the male performers not liking it, but I think that's because of how it's done. After all, who wants to fuck a girl that's covered in piss? This is why I always preferred the scenes when they piss on the girl at the end of the scene rather than during the scene. That way, the guys aren't fucking her after they have already pissed on her, which I agree is kind of a turn-off. I tolerate it, but I always said that I would much prefer that they wait until the end of the scene to piss on her, and preferably in a bathroom or someplace where cleanup wouldn't be as much of an issue.

Actually piss has already been deemed obscene in several US states. Porn director Max Hardcore was convicted and sentenced to 4 years in prison for distributing scenes with piss.

It's the principle of the matter. Why should I have to get a VPN because one website wants to play games? I should be able to see it freely just like everyone can. In those countries where it is also blocked, it is because it is explicitly illegal, which is not the case in the US. Also, because LP operates outside of the US, it would be exempt from any lawsuit on obscenity as the company would not be bound by US law.
