Her passing makes me think about so many other exceptional and beautiful performers who have given us so much but sadly left us far too soon -- such as Amber Rayne, August Ames, Yurizan Beltran, Dahlia Sky (aka Bailey Blue), Dakota Skye, Amara Romani, Kagney Linn Karter, or Julie Skyhigh. In my mind, they were all amazing human beings and strong, powerful women who brought huge amounts of joy to the world. They were all young and beautiful, and then, suddenly, they were just gone. You may see such dramatic life ends happen more often with entertainment industry workers, but it's also because they are more exposed we learn more about these cases. Depression can be contained pharmacologically, but ofc pills need to be taken regularly.

Of course people from any walk of life can suffer from depression, it's a mental illness, but there are things that can exacerbate it. It isn't always the case, but generally girls who go into the adult industry aren't doing it because they have a wealth of other options. There are often hardships, broken homes, even abuse in their past and particularly childhood, and it's because of this that rates of mental health issues, drug abuse and even suicide are way higher than societal baselines. Honestly i'm agree with jjwhite1985, him point of view is quite close with mine. For some reasons, Vitoria had depression but we don't have the big picture here to valorate what happened exactly.

What i know is that a depression is not something that someone has and ends like this in a short time, i'm sure that she had that illness for a while and sadly she couldn't handle it.. mental illness are the worst that a human being can suffer, is something that, even being aware, you cannot control, sadly she is not here anymore.

I was shocked when I saw the tweet last week abiut her funeral. I also did see something about her not being well the previous week but thought that she was on her way to recovery.

Firstly I am very sad for her family and would like to contribute something too.

Secondly, I think Beatriz was definitely a "self-less" ground breaker for porn and Yummy studio and brought both upto the next level. I think without her a lot of porn stars like Larissa and Bruna would not have made it in porn. I think her co-stars learnt a lot from her "on the job".

Thirdly, we are losing many pornstars like Beatriz to mental illness. It is almost if extreme porn performance (from a female) is an outlet of their mental state but may boomerang back to them in a bad (life-ending) way. I think we need to look after our pornstars who give up their "self" (or soul) to us. So maybe porn viewers need to think of a some way to try and stop this happening in future. Also porn companies do STD testing before a shoot, but they should also provide mental health support/testing before and after a shoot too. But some porn companies might have a different view on this - especially if they believe a death of a pornstar like Beatriz will produce increased sales.

Fourthly, if there there is a spike in sales for Beatriz' scenes after her death, I think many pornfans would hope that the studios should donate a significant amount to her daughter/family.
