Okay, Oscar, the point is abundantly clear. It's basically a specific aesthetic line of production. It's disappointing for those of us who want a bit of variety, because, honestly, for me, most studios have too many shoes, stockings, heels, sneakers, etc. Very few studios truly offer variety for everyone; seeing the same beautiful model over and over again in the same clothes is truly disappointing. It's great that you like this style and I really hope you enjoy such scenes. But the director here is not one to like or dislike something. A good and quality director is someone who produces his work in a balanced way and for the largest possible spectrum of viewers. If only for himself, then he is just a buffoon and a snob who will go bankrupt sooner or later. And for this behavior of his, I wish him well. So far, it looks promising, he is releasing fewer and fewer scenes. What bothers me the most is the hypocrisy of this clown with a cap. If he is so principled and cannot take off those cheap cabaret shoes that were used in Europe in the years 1980 - 1995, even for a second, in his scenes, why did this clown with a cap climb and stink in Gonzo, GG and N/F scenes where the actresses were completely naked and barefoot. No, that's a load of rubbish. Porn is an art form and any artist should follow their creative muse and disregard what anyone else thinks. What you're saying is like asking a great singer/songwriter to write some drivel in the style of Taylor Swift or Harry Styles because they're more likely to sell records that way. That's undeniably true but by definition means a watering down of their craft and less satisfaction with what they're doing.

Jack23 essentially followed your advice, which makes him the porn equivalent of a sell-out. For him, including some tame and insincere manhandle became like you say about attracting "the largest spectrum of viewers" but the problem with that is that he has a watered-down product that he doesn't entirely believe in. Ultimately, that will probably translate to finding few friends amongst viewers.

You might not like the Mambo aesthetics but those who do are going to love it and trust it more than if they were watered down. Oscar's calculation is that this will be enough to translate to solid sales, while also satisfying himself as a porn producer. If he knew that watering down his style would lead to increased sales, maybe he does it, maybe he doesn't. That depends on how much value he places on money vs artistic satisfaction. Not every porn producer is going to look at sales as the absolute bottom line and indeed, doing so is no guarantee of success anyway. The irony is that there are many failed artists out there who compromised in order to "get on" but actually would have been more successful if they hadn't. Oscar is from the school of being confident in what he wants to project being compatible with making a decent living (maybe even better) and not wanting to make compromises and more power to him for that.
