Agree except for point 2. Obviously this is different for everyone, some girls make a better go of it than others through their ability to make good content of their own and market it. But you got to remember that LP is only a tiny slice of the porn market, vanilla stuff is by far the most popular genre out there, so having a bit of name recognition from 'traditional' porn can actually be a great starting point to create their own successful platform.
