I just suggested in another tread that EKS applies for as many visas for Russian rookie girls of their former crop as possible - just in order to get basic EU import possibility for a few of them.

At the same time we have to understand that Schengen visa process is a long time endeavor, Russians of all ages and body types, and not only porn actresses ofc, wait a long time in line at EU embassies to get these visas.

Gonzo studio and Giorgio Grandi decided many years ago that they would never book teen models. And now they have closed down because not many people where buying their content.
GG is technically still operating with new director in charge, thanks to very small group of loyal customer who keeps buying scenes with the same models over and over. Even if the models are not very attractive and can take 5 dicks in the ass without even reacting, like it is just another day at the office.

If EKS studio follows the same path as Gonzo and GG it is also going to close down soon.

The fact of the matter is that some people value performance when it comes to certain acts such as DAP, some assign more value to looks and some just prefer to have a good balance of both. EKS may be having a go at being a prospective flagship studio and thus become more similar to GG etc in these respects.

When was there ever a teen ban at GG or Gonzo? Of course inexperienced newbies aren't going to hit it big or be invited to top tier studios on a quite as frequent basis. They have the chance to work their way up and train ahead of giving it a go in these studios where more challenging acts are the norm. There's no anti-teen conspiracy at work there.

To insinuate that it's only a select few loyal customers into these scenes is again more of the same speculative bullshit that just gets flung around by some people time and time again. Before the move to Romania EKS studio filmed ONLY young attractive models and they frequently introduced newbies. It was not something you would see on a rare occasion, it was the norm. They filmed gang bangs and all the same sex acts that we are used to see.
Same story with NRX studio who was the top selling flagship studio on the platform. They most certainly did not close down due to poor sales or due to their models not hitting it big. They where shut down by the Russian police. Now how is that for a conspiracy theory?

About Gonzo and GG they regularly booked teen newbies in 2015-2016. Giorgio (and whife) even was running a model agency with the purpose of bringing top quality new models to their studio and to the hardcore industry at large. And they did so very successfully.
But then over the years they just stopped caring. Agency closed down and attractive newbies where nowhere to be seen. There was no teen ban, they just decided to not book them any more for whatever reason. Maybe they didnt want to make money? I dont fucking know.

Yes, but that NRX etc success story took place in Russia and as Giorgio Grandi for example once pointed out, there's a much bigger pool of young and attractive models one can draw from.

Flying models in starting with all the issues of logistics, visa and making sure those prospective new talents are up to what is asked for them and don't disappoint just seems to be something of an untenable situation with too many variables.

It's doubtful that there's a considerable untapped potential in Central Europe that hasn't been sucked dry by OF and the likes and not to mention first founding the infrastructure that would be required to tap into what may or may not be there is no small task.

I don't think anyone can blame the studio for consequently going about this in a pragmatic way and to rely on established star models that are known to sell and perform well.

From my limited insight as an ordinary porn consumer it seems only rational given the demise or slowing down of some of the main studios of old for a studio to try to fill that gap and emulate the more successful path as laid out by them rather than trying to undertake such a riskful venture.

I think we should all be modest about drawing any conclusions as to why or how studios closed down. Including but not limited to blaming it all on a lack of teens or style of clothing or whatever arbitrary thing each and everyone of us don't happen to be too happy about. EKS might see a temporary boost in sales when customers that used to buy GG and Gonzo scenes now have found a new studio with "good performers" (old and unattractive models). But that is not going to last.

Well, for Giorgio Grandi there were a plethora of reasons. Many of which he has mentioned himself.

He didn't see any potential to further grow.

He wanted to quit producing porn before turning 50 and to this end he had already tried to find other business opportunities outside of porn to explore.

There was no profitability problem, but rather the problem was to be found in new business models such as OF chipping away at the pool of potential new models.

In the case of Gonzo the reasons were never clearly communicated but it's only logical to assume that they were subject to the same issues and that its owner just thought it more trouble than worth and decided to call it quits rather than being around as a walking corpse it in some respects had already become.

Since he owns this whole distribution platform and a vast porn empire it may have been more of a burden to keep it going at any rate. At least this way, Gonzo retains its legacy.

Based on this, I don't see any conclusive evidence that the former flagship studios model is inherently flawed, at least comparatively in the sense of what is feasible in today's industry.

This leads me to believe that EKS may indeed be doing the smart thing with their current course to appease customers of these now (partly) defunct studios
