You talk about directors here and yet most of them are retired/no longer direct because it's fucking hard to make porn films and be profitable. 3 of the 7 directors aren't directing anymore, and the rest are long past their primes.

14 years since John Strong directed.
10 years since Vince Voyeur directed.
8 years since Raul Christian directed.
Mike John is much less active than before, and his glory years were 2 decades ago.
Jules Jordan's prime is long behind him.
The same is true for Manuel Ferrara.

I've never said Giorgio didn't do very well under difficult circumstances. I mentioned that a lot of the directors that HouseMD said were amazing, no longer direct. There's a reason for this. Porn has been a very tough business in the last 2 decades for a variety of reasons. A lot of studios created online websites circa 2003 and thought it'd increase and diversify income, but it really hit physical sales and the amount that people paid was a fraction of what they'd pay for a VHS/DVD when the industry could fully control physical distribution. Then the situation worsened dramatically with internet piracy starting with p2p, torrents, cyberlockers in 2005/2006 and then tube sites circa 2009. OF and cam sites made a bad situation inexorably worse. COVID and the Ukraine Russia war were just the final nail in the coffin.

Giorgio probably made some bad decisions near the end, but he had an amazing 5 year period at Legal Porno and prior to that, was very successful with Norestfortheass. This can never be expunged.

I wish Giorgio the best of luck in what he chooses to do next.
