It may seem funny. But there is usually a guy (or two) around to help with assorted things on a set. GG or LP may do it differently. The sets I have visited - there was a guy called a "runner" - held a second or third camera, held the pussy/ass light, got the guys or girls paper towels to wipe off sweat, got them bottled water and helped set up and clean up (yes that means wiping cum off the floor or couch)...
