2: The introduction of PPB's endless garbage studios finally manages to burry and stink the top studios.
3: The endless repetition of the same girls.

5: Latin studios, with there cheap prices, became a huge burden.
6: GG price increase. 20 dollars for a scene turned buyers away to the back alleys.

I told them that this was going to happen, it was obvious, when you focus so much on niche pornography you are limiting yourself, therefore losing the greatest number of clients.

The golden formula of the old LP was basic but extremely successful, bringing young and beautiful girls in hardcore DP and DAP scenes without any other type of additional content. When you add other types of fetishes, there are many people who reject it and therefore do not buy and in the medium and long term they forget about the company, in the end you are left with the same clients as always and in the end they also end up getting tired in the long run. deadline and all this ends in the closure of the studio due to poor sales.

After reading Giorgio's statement, it baffles me that people don't take him seriously or come up with alternative ideas for him. Do you all really think he hasn't already looked at dozens of options? He knows what happens behind the scenes (financially and otherwise), we don't. Here he is, stating this so unequivocally, and people still think there is a solution. Nobody should be this naive.

It is just another domino to fall in the downward trend of the last couple of years, quite likely the biggest one and one that will change this site forever (or outright kill it with what little is left in terms of professional studios).

I would never attribute the current failure of the Prague studios to inclusions of fetishes that aren't even so bizarre compared to some pretty weird stuff on dark sites.

In my opinion, the departure of veteran performers, who really performed with passion and professionalism, is largely responsible. When we saw advertisements for scenes with Jolee, Francys Belle, Emily Pink, Jureka, Alexxa, Brittany Bardot... it was a guarantee that we would have high quality material (even if the formula was repeated for all scenes - setting, positions, etc.- we had a variety of human capital). Currently we only find Rebel Rhyder and Veronica Leal who are still going strong.

Another reason I point out is the site's sales model - through ticket purchases, instead of membership. This greatly compromises the popularization of new girls who have recently arrived. The user will think "is it better for me to spend my tks on scenes from performers that I know are good or take the risk of spending them for girls I haven't even heard of?". Ultimately, this ticket purchasing model is outdated and disregards the current economic scenario.

The 1on1 scenes shot in Serbia were more expensive because stud needed to be flown in from Prague. Also the 2 DAPs so far released are slightly more expensive in a transparent fair way because GIO flew his DAP stud crew in to guarantee the usual DAP quality. Investment into girls was a bit lower because of less travel and no visa costs but as far as I can tell that was taken into account.

The locally available girl performed fine it seems, but the direct ex-NRX imports failed. NRX girls already in the past were a hit or miss often tending to the later because of Nick production tricks. Could GIO have foreseen that? - Yes, but hope dies last.

To run my company cost a lot, on the top of the cost of each single scene.

It’s simple math: buying containers of sun beds from China and re-sell them to wholesale with 10% margin would be less risky, more profitable (and needs less running cost) and provide long term stability (as in China there are tons of sun beds and in porn just a few models interested to get a huge dick up in the ass)

If on the top of this I can use my audience to sell content from other producers (so more variety of everything) with less risk for myself and less running cost and a small cut for me… that’s it

About running studio here, it was bad idea from the start, even if the scenes were successful...because soon, there will be fight against crazy dictator and his mafia, who sold beautiest part of our country, to Rio Tinto to mine a lithium. So, very soon, it will be us or them. And thats, not good environment to run a business, even if that mafia dont bother you directly.

About new players instead of you, I can just hope, as always, that multi girl scenes will be very rare. And that you will be careful in choosing, who will be releasing scenes, under famous GIO brand.

No one can doubt that Gio's studio has been in the top, even now, in LP/AV. The studio has been my main porn provider during these years and this is a shock, but the situation in the last 4-5 years changed a lot (in terms of business, including this porn site)

Reading you seems that your studio will becomming in a "porn brand" on others directors can use that status to start-up their content, we will see how this will run..

PD:I read complains about the fetishes/niches as the consequence of this situation.

I don't have the numbers but, the majority of professional studios here implanted the sames fetishes/niches, not only GIorgio.

I'm agree that some of them were the cause of the escape of a % of customers but i guess that they studied the numbers to see that include them will be profitable.

Same situation was with the rise of the prices, and others users complained about the lack of ideas too.

This porn site, as a site that has professional porn studios, is one of the most expensives, but the content is worth it because you don't find this performing in other sites.. The truth is that surely the bunch of customers is little compared with some of the most famous porn sites as Brazzers.

These porn sites have really good prices, i guess because they count with a millions of clients arround the world.

Passing over the fact that releasing scenes shot by others is really different from republish scenes already on the market without a clear advice (as today Jada Amor's scene already sold by LVT studio in may), that appears to me more of a uncorrect behaviour... and now I guess it's not the only one, lately I saw a few scenes with a strange background...

I still have to understand why, if studios and studios are closing down, the main website can't reconsider its policy.
Garbage and garbage published every day, tons of scenes rereleased without any advice.
Are they selling? If it's this way, peace, world is changed and we'll have to deal with it. If not, very difficult to understand why they're still walking this way instead of turning back.

By the way, I almost don't buy single scenes anymore and only go on with subscriptions.
I can't accept scenes cost 3 times more than 5 years ago. Inflation didn't rise this way. And if costs are 3 times more, well, something is not working, I don't know what it is (I'm not a producer) but still I will not accept it as a customer. I will not inflate my porn budget, and this is a fact.
If costs/income balance doesn't work, (and supposing actors' wages are the major cost) teach the girls (or studs) they have to choose between lower their wages or quit working at all.
If wages are not the major factor, look elsewhere.
If any product (let's say milk) costs today 3 € while 5 years ago costed 1 €, I'll quit buying it and switch to something else.
Then, if it's only me, milk producers have no problems. But if it's a whole bunch of customers (and it seems so, with studios closing and closing) then milk producers have to find a way to lower price to 2 € or close down.
Sure, I can't know about production costs and so on. But you as a producer know how much the average customer can (wants to) spend.

Gonzo is gone. NRX is gone. GG is going. Anal Teens/Latin teens/Bruno is just a major scam selling and reselling and reselling again. What remains now? Erika Korti is good, then Natasha Teen (who recently is doubling its prices and has no subscription, so is becoming a no buy for me). Mambo, still at 10tkt for a scene and I don't like anyway. Yummy, that is becoming almost about puking.

This all just comes down to the way the porn landscape has changed over the last few years, and especially since covid. There are many, many alternative platforms and services available now that allow performers to 100% control their content, work from home, earn more etc, as well as give consumers access to tailored and/or personalized content, all of which makes it more and more difficult to run a profitable "professional" porn studio.

Industries change all the time, it's just the way it is - think of how netflix and streaming have changed the TV industry. There isn't much to be done about it, you just have to find ways to adapt.
