Navigating the site in 2023

There are at least 5 different point I have been able to identify that I'm mentioning here.

1. When you subscribe to a new channel keep in mind sometimes even if you subscribe with two arrows up, some scenes will show up in the "New Scenes" section, and others will show up in the feed section, depending of your browser.

2. There are situations where the scene will not show up at all, in neither one, like it happened to me with the following scene, but by clicking on her name I was able to discover there was a recent scene by the model. You may get many updates from the same studio, but not all the scenes will always show up.

3. Some studios, even if you're subscribed will not appear on neither the feed or the new releases tab, so you may have to check if they have updates, like it happened to me with 4 of this studio's updates.

4. Other times there will be a model you like that may have different pages. So for example here, this model has two different pages, so if you are only subscribed to one, you will miss on her other scenes. It is better to look for her in the search bar, and subscribe to her other pages or you may miss on new releases by her.

5. From what I heard, and you should consider I could be potentially misinformed, the studio and model gets upvoted with your purchase as long as you buy within 14 days of the release date. After that, I believe the scene still gets some recognition, but it isn't direct. So you may keep that in mind when you want to support a particular model or studio.

Keep in mind this is only my experience, and you may have a different experience than mine.

I think duplicate/multiple entries for models is a growing problem. I think this is mostly caused by the shift of Pornbox to a "self-service" business model which relies on content sellers to label their content correctly.

Further, Pornbox sometimes shows the same model with slightly different spellings of the same name, or even completely different names.

For example; Mia Parker aka Mia Park aka Veronica Rich aka Liloo Von, who is wrongly shown on the model page for "Liloo" who is a different model.

In some cases, it may be that studios genuinely know the model by different stage-names. Models also sometimes change their stage names.

I think the information comes from Sheer terms and conditions

"Our system will calculate a long term, projected 3-year monetary value. This is completed within 15 days of the video being live on our Network."

So yes, I also think the studio will consider the scene and/or the model to be a good seller, or not, based on that 15 day price which they receive.

On the other side of the argument, the studio does get paid earlier than if they waited to receive their percentage of a declining tail of residual sales.

And some studios may lack the resources or skills to work out which scenes and models are selling best for them if they had to analyse their own weekly/monthly sales over time.

I just don’t bother mentioning it anymore, I truly believe that it won’t make an iota of difference anyway. Either they don’t care, or they are too incompetent to fix it.

OK, maybe I don't know what I don't know because I haven't ever noticed this behaviour on the site. And when Yuri has posted his examples, they don't work the same way on my screen.

Pornbox now has maybe 2,000 content sellers listed and maybe 150,000 scenes for sale. I wonder how rigorously they stress-tested their scripts which generate the individualised web pages that we each see?
