I think it is the make-up, costume, lighting departments who do a very good job to make the girls look the absolute best they can in porn scenes.

I do though find that as make-up tends to wear off through longer scenes, the more natural/raw look of the hopefully turned on model's face only improves the scene. This annoys me too.

I watched Limar Cord's first scene recently which honestly still manages to be great despite a number of flaws. One is that her panties stay on for virtually the whole scene, and her bra is never removed. Her nipples were wonderfully hard the few glimpses we got too so the latter was a real shame.
