Karlovy Vary is only 130km from Prague and has nice there hotels, thus I'd go for it anyway.

Next week is the International Film Festival, another reason to be there. But I got you plan for Sept only, netzer, than that additional plus is of no use ofc. Expect it to be rather expensive in Karlovy Vary btw.

Thanks Brother. There are offers on booking.com for 14 nights at around 700 Euros, really lovely hotels. Nothing wrong with that.
