Personally I can't really recommend a VPN. I'm British and I live in the Czech Republic, and neither of those countries restrict content of this type. I do use a personal VPN, as I have my own server; so I'm not paying for anything. I don't think there really is such a thing as a decent free VPN, ultimately you'll have to pay for something decent. The free one's tend to choke your connection or have really limited upload/download quotas.
